It is a smallish room, and it was crowded when we arrived and is loud. We were seated right away. The house wine IS good. They serve Serbian beer, and that is also good. (they have a full bar also). We were 4 diners that all had positive comments about their meals... veal, chicken, pork loin...and something else...all very tasty!... More

Once again this is the VERY BEST restaurant in the Milwaukee area. We plan on eating here at least once a month at a minimum.

Three Brothers is a great experience--Serbian food in a place that was originally a Schlitz Tavern dating back to 1897. And the food is excellent. We had a party of six, and tasted each other's dishes, and all were incredibly good, from my Musaka, to the Ghoulash, Chicken Paprikash, Leg of Lamb, and Pork Loin. Different techniques and full flavors,... More

This eclectic restaurant has been serving authentic Serbian food for decades. It is a bit funky: formica tabletops, bent wicker chairs and a bar that isn't a bar (oh, and cash only). Having said all that, the food is wonderful, the prices very affordable, and the staff and customers friendly. For an genuine ethnic restaurant experience of the kind that... More

This is the BEST restaurant WE have been to in years. The VERY BEST. As you are well aware we have been to ALOT of fine restaurants. The service ( Michael) was PERFECT. The FOOD ALL three meals OUTSTANDING. Weinerschnitzel (spelling sorry, Duck , and Veal all 100% perfect. Salad, drinks, EVERYTHING was PERFECT. They never rush you. The meals... More

A group of us had dinner following the recommendation of a friend. Boureg was ordered ahead(it takes an hour) and did not disappoint. Don't miss it! The moussaka was yummy and Serbian salad delish. Goulash received rave reviews. The Serbian Kiss drink was also a big hit. Charming old fashioned interior and head chef who visited tables chatting with guests.... More

We looked forward to eating at this highly reviewed restaurant, as we love Eastern European food, but we were sorely disappointed. Our colas were flat. Our bread was stale. We waited 35 minutes for our first course. We waited 60 minutes for our entrees. The wait persons were very nice with their explanations. "The chefs make everything from scratch." "We... More

We were visiting our son who lives here and his wife suggested trying this restaurant as something different from the Italian, Chinese, Indian, and Mexican eateries we typically frequent. The last time I ate Serbian cuisine was on a visit to Belgrade several years ago. The building itself, built in 1897 for the Schlitz Brewery, is on the National Register... More

I don't get here often enough but I am never disappointed when I do. Its old world charm, extensive menu and caring staff make every visit memorable. Five friends gathered recently for a celebratory dinner. We ordered our spinach bureks ahead which saves a little time. We started with the Serbian salad - and their bread. So delicious. Then the... Great place, very good food and service. Would've been just a tad bit better if they took credit cards :) But we love-love-love it anyway! Recommended to all our friends, and they enjoyed it enormously.
