We ended up here on a whim one late night. All of us were impressed. The service was great and very friendly. I got mild chili on spaghetti noodles; my friends got hot chili on spaghetti and beans. It came with a large bowl of oyster crackers and we added cheese, onions, sour cream to them as well. There was... More

Had a late lunch as we traveled thru Milwaukee. The chili had great deep flavors with out being overpowering. Severed over pasta, available mild, medium or hot. Also they have a vegetarian version that my daughter said was very good.

This is about as good as it gets for Milwaukee Chili. The recipe, restaurant and some of the employees have not changed in 100 years (that's a bit of an exaggeration but you get the point). It gets interested around bar time when the drunks come it. Not a huge bowl but order seconds if you need more.

If you are in Milwaukee, you must eat here. Best chili and staff in town. Get plain chili, or even mixed with spaghetti. Half the cost for your second bowl also.

There seems to be an argument as to whether or not this is "real chili". Who Cares? Is it good food...that's what I care about. Does anyone actually believe that somehow Burger King is the actual King of Burgers? Ok, now that I've got that out of the way I have eaten one time each at both locations on Wells... More

I know I am in the minority, but I am not a big fan of this place. I keep going back, and keep getting disappointed. The chili itself is delicious!! However, most of your bowl is noodles and/or beans, with maybe one scoop of chili, unless you pay more. I love all the extras you can purchase for your chili,... More

I'm just in town for the day and I happened to walk into this place. Staff was very friendly and suggested the spaghetti with chili. Being from Arizona I'd never considered putting chili on spaghetti. It was great. I also got a chili dog. Also very good. I will stop in every time I come back to Milwaukee.

It has been more than a few years since I last ate at RC on a visit to Milwaukee. This was a college standard esp post bar time in the day. For lunch I ordered the Marquette special - med chili, beans and spaghetti with cheese. And of course the oyster crackers. It was still pretty darn good. I love... More

I ate at Real Chili back in the 60's and 70's as a child. Moved away and just finally made it back a few days ago. Oh my, it was just as delicious as I remembered it. I was so happy to still sit at the counter stools and eat my bowl of goodness with oyster crackers. Thank you for... More
