My husband has treated me to Leon's many times. The custard is delicious & the pecans are super fresh everytime! No wonder there's always a crowd! Don't miss this treat!

We were on our way to HD Museum and we decide to make a quick stop here, think it will be the same as culvers. How wrong can I be. It's nothing fancy and flash, we took all 4 flavors of the day and they were all so good, we all went back for 2 more cones each.

Hadn't been here in years. Kind of forgot about it actually - too many people are always thoughtlessly recommending Leon's to first-timers and to a resident, it becomes an irritating cliche. I got out of a medical appointment feeling somewhat despondent and wanting to escape my own body, then had the thought I was mere blocks away from this ghostly... More

Usually a long line there year round but be patient-as you won't be disappointed. They have a lot of different and sometimes new ice cream flavors-the usual-cones or sundaes and you can get pints or larger to take home. They'll put it in a thermal sack for you. Goltta have a Leon's Hot Fudge! My personal favorite!

The butter pecan custard is second to none. Service is speedy and efficient. There is no seating and you are not encouraged to linger. If you are looking for excellent custard, this is the place.

The hot dogs and "Spanish" hamburgers (which are sloppy joes) are horrible. But that isn't what you came for. Everything else on the menu is top notch. Spring, Summer, Fall and even the dead of winter Leon's custard can't be topped.

Leon's had been around for a long time because their custard tastes better than any other custard that I have ever had.

Leon's looks like a mid-century drive-in custard stand. The building sparks memories of another time. This long time business serves up custard that is better than good. Go there but don't just order a turtle sundae and leave. Leon's is also famous for what is called, a "Spanish Burger" a tasty treat. It is loose ground beef cooked as though... More

There is no ice cream store or brand that compares to Leons. It's a must do in Milwaukee. Right next to St Luke's Hospital on Oklahoma Ave it's open year round and serves burgers, fries and any kind of sundae you can dream up.
