It's like 5 bucks for about 3 ounces of ice cream. And the place kind of smells like rancid chemicals or something. Not toxic or overwhelming, but the air doesn't seem like clean indoor air. It was really stuffy like they don't have AC. All the gelato and sorbets look enticing behind the glass case, but after that it's downhill.... More

Visited Cold Spoons, with friends (including kids) for the first time this past weekend. I was very impressed with the variety of flavors of gelato and sorbet. They have standard flavors (like Chocolate, Strawberry, Mint Chocolate Oreo), but also some 'out there' creative flavors like a Beet sorbet! There was also Red Orange, 'Fat Elvis' (a chocolate, peanut butter, banana... More

Easy to overlook, this small gelato shop tucked away in a residential neighborhood serves outstanding gelato and sorbetto. Their gelato is made on-site, and it is amazing. My family has tried 12 of their flavors and have yet to find one that isn't an incredible delight. If you are in the area, seek this shop out. You will not regret... More

There are about two dozen flavors so that the problem is choosing among them. The staff is very friendly and you can either buy pints to go or eat there or both. I particularly like the pink grapefruit, the passion fruit, the mint straciatella, and the chocolate.

The service was really good, we were offered many cheerful tastes before we settled in on some truly yummy selections. My only disappointment was there was nothing chocolate on the menu when we went!

Cold Spoons is my favorite spot for gelato in the Milwaukee metro area. The portions are generous, and the flavors are fresh, authentic and numerous--always plenty to choose from, and they are hard choices, too! The last time I stopped in, after seeing a movie at the Times Cinema just down the block, I had Tiramisu and Roasted Almond, a... More

We were both very pleasantly surprised. It tasted like being in Italy. As soon as we saw the pistachio gelato, and saw it was tan instead of neon green, we knew we were in the right place. We loved the rich, authentic taste of both the pistachio and the roasted almond, which we got to go. We had half lemon... More

This place has great gelato. Everyone loves theirs and so did I. This is a great alternative to ice cream and they have a wide variety of flavors.

My family loves going to Cold Spoons!! If you have a dairy issue, the sorbeto is a must... if you like to indulge, the gelato flavors are unbelievable! Tuesdays are a great day for a bargain!
