We stopped in while attending a wedding in Milwaukee - between the church and the reception. What a fun place! Great, fun atmosphere, the servers were adorable in their themed dress and were VERY pleasant. We ordered a few very large beers and the MOST DELICIOUS pretzels I've ever had.

The dining area is small with communal seating. It wasn't busy so we had no problem being served. It's a no frills experience. Food was okay, but not over the top. One strange thing was the meal was served on super small plates filled to the brim. Liter beers were half price. The beer is good--we've had it before at... More

I like meat. And I think the pig is proof that God loves us. Literally the BEST ham I've ever eaten. Pork shanks that could I could eat everyday. And the sausage? OMG. Of course, you're just down the street from Usinger's so you expect delicious. Raucous atmosphere, lot's of characters. And the beer is solid. Good German beer that... More

Great place to go for authentic German bar experience and quick bite to eat. Apple strudel is quite good.

We went before the opera. Nothing fancy, but good service, yummy food, beer, and reasonable prices. Give it a try.

If you want to experience an atmosphere with beer and food similar to what we experienced in Germany, this rather small location with long group tables does it! We were pleased to find a special for half-priced liters, and each enjoyed the popular currywurst. Our pretzel was a bit over cooked today, but they have been very good in the... More

I highly recommend this restaurant. The saurkraut balls are the best. They should call it what they are--reuben baal. They are fantastic with a sweet mustard sauce. A must try!!!!

We came as a family party of 6 adults and a baby. There was plenty of room for all of us at the picnic style tables. The beer was German and available in 2 different sized steins. We had the giant pretzel and cheese curds for an appetizer...plenty for all of us. The sausages were delicious as was everything else.... More
