We stayed at St Kate ( excellent hotel stay ) for a Friday night hoping for a good breakfast before we went home. I ordered something with yogurt and a side of waffles . My husband ordered a type of oatmeal . Plus I had...coffee and cappuccino. The food took a long time , good half hour. When food arrived I honestly believe I was served 2 boxed sugar crusted waffle that was cold topped with whipped cream to make it pretty for $8. The yogurt was okay . My husband’s oatmeal was dry and very dense and was barely warm . We had to ask for milk to get it to loosen up. It was not served w the oatmeal on the side. It was however dry and tasty . The long awaited cappuccino was so milky I couldn’t drink it . It was a latte, not cappuccino. The restaurant doesn’t know how to make a proper cappuccino.More

We had the wild boar ragu with polenta. It was quite tasty and atypically mild. The goat cheese appetizer was a bit shocking -- very strong cheese with a concentrated tomato jam, but it you ate in spread over the bread it was enjoyable. The...dumplings in the chicken and dumpling soup were injected with some strong weird flavor I could not place; they were not good. However the soup itself was delicious. The chocolate dessert came covered in salted caramel crumbs and pistachio ice cream. If you ate the dessert together it was interesting, but the chocolate base was the star of the show. And the cocktails... All the flavors were strong; most of them were good.More

This restaurant is attractive and the seating comfortable. The food is terrific. I had their roasted chicken with green beans last night and couldn’t believe how good it was. Unfortunately, they served half a chicken (cut into 3 pieces) so I couldn’t finish it all....Tonight I had their vegetarian gnocchi, also available with salmon, and it was delicious. The waitress both nights was cheerful and efficient.More

If attending the Marcus Performing Performing Arts, Milwaukee Rep or the Pabst, Aria's is convenient and the food is good. It has the feel of coming to eat in a dining room and a limited menu but interesting choices. The only thumbs down I'd give...it is the Wedge Salad - it was two small "wedges" of Romaine and about half of it was just the core. And it was topped with a large piece of room temperature 1" slab of bacon that was mostly fat -maybe someone likes a slice of fat but if I'm going to eat that, I at least want it crispy! Otherwise, our dining experience was most enjoyable. And before or after dinner, there is also some very interesting art exhibit to enjoy on the 1st floor. Reservations recommended.More

Just arrived in town and didn't want to search for food, but low and behold it was right at the hotel - out of a couple dishes but at no fault of their own - food was delish, service was great.

Went to this restaurant for a date night/birthday dinner for my husband. The real reason we chose this place was after a recommendation from some good friends. The food was wonderful from start to finish - when you are told to get the brussel sprouts...and pork chop… make sure you actually get those! So amazing. The cocktails were great as well. Don’t get me started in the dessert flight - the pistachio ice cream was to die for. Besides the food and the cocktails… Our service was some of the best we have ever had. Shout out to Todd! He was amazing and made the best recommendations. He truly topped off the entire experience.More

If you like spice and taste in your food bring it Cafe Aria does not meet spice or taste expectations. I’ve stayed here twice both times I feel like there is a major lack of urgency, and that they don’t do a good job of...making guests feel fully welcomed after check in.More

All menu items were a combination I have never had before but every single thing was delicious. I recommend the Pastrami if it is still on the menu.

The food was all unique and freshly prepared. Flavorful, filling, perfect combinations of feels like home and high end splurging. Staff was extremely professional and friendly. Great atmosphere for a date night or to catch up with family and friends.

I have eaten at Aria on several occasions, and have never been disappointed. Most recently, over New Year's, I had the chance to try breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu is on the smaller side, but the offerings are high quality. For breakfast, I opted...for blueberry granola pancakes with bacon and orange juice via room service. While the service itself took quite some time, the pancakes were flavorful and the bacon was excellent. At dinner, I chose the salmon, which was served with an avocado-pistachio caponata on a bed of kale. I have always loved Aria's fries (and have visited several times solely for them), and can note that their quality is remarkably consistent. I did not enjoy the flavors of the dressing on the kale, but the salmon was good paired with the caponata. The service at Aria is always warm and friendly. Specifically, I brought my niece and nephew to show them The Dark Room. Although we weren't dining, the hostess at Aria did the while TDR reveal with the curtain and bookshelf after helping the kids search Aria. I really appreciated this, because while totally unnecessary, it added to their experience at Saint Kate. I would recommend Aria to anyone looking for a pleasant lunch or dinner with friends.More

This quiet bar is a perfect spot for a drink before dinner with conversation and great service. We were there around 6 pm and loved all of the natural light. It is a great asset to the hotel. There is another bar on the main...floor that offers a completely differnt vibe (good for lively after dinner fun).More

Aria is the all-day restaurant at The Saint Kate hotel, which is one of this new breed of hotels that celebrates art - it's a very interesting place. The lobby is like an art museum - so much to see. Located right across the street...from The Marcus Performing Arts Center, the hotel echoes the neighborhood fixation on the arts. In the restaurant, everything about the room is stylish - I was enamored with the water glasses. The room is quite large but comfortable. The menu is imaginative and just what one would expect in an arts hotel. I enjoyed the Fried Egg Sandwich. Service was very good.More

I had heard so many wonderful things about Aria at Saint Kate that my heart practically sang when my friend said that she made a reservation there for us. I heard that it was quiet, that the food was good, and that the service was...excellent. Well, the service was excellent. We ordered from the luncheon menu: a cup of tomato/red bell pepper soup, and a chicken salad sandwich. The sandwich filling was bland and the bread/croissant was so fragile that we needed to eat our sandwiches with knife and fork. The soup was barely lukewarm. As the restaurant began to fill, it became more and more noisy. Our experience at Aria at Saint Kate was average at best. With so many other restaurants in Milwaukee to try, there is no reason to return here.More

Several "special" fish dinners and a burger and a couple of desserts... Our entrees were priced from $15 to $32, I believe. Food was excellent, except I missed a bit of sauce on the burger. Otherwise that burger of mine with the fries was very...good. $27 for a bottle of decent wine was also enjoyed. The delicious, but very light chocolate cake was a terrific ending to the meal. Service was highly attentive to our table. Would love to return to try more of the menu offerings.More
