We recently went to the Sunday brunch at the Smyth restaurant in The Iron Horse Hotel, and had an excellent time enjoying all the different offerings. I started with a made to order omelet, and from the kitchen I ordered the Iron Horse Hash. The two choices were made to perfection, so I decided to order the tiramisu pancakes, which... More

Came here recently for Sunday brunch - Wow! The food was amazingly delicious- omlets, braised short ribs, crab cakes, fish tacos, on and on. What an awesome selection of food items- we will be back!

My Christmas day brunch was very good. Large selection of typical and unique dishes at a reasonable price since very few places were open that day.

We have been to Smyth for their Sunday brunch and have enjoyed it, but the Christmas Day brunch was not worth the additional $20 it cost. What was great: seafood appetizers and other appetizer cheeses/meats. The fruit bowl and salads were also very fresh. The potatoes and stuffing were good. I was excited for the prime rib but it was... More

How many places offer hot buttered rum as one of the featured cocktails? Drinks are interesting and the service is always great! Never a disappointment coming here. Great patio in the summer and awesome bike night.

Went for a farewell dinner for one of my close business friend. The wine list is diverse wit some incredible selections, a little pricey but not unreasonable. We shared the meat and cheese plate - the pate was outstanding. A very comfortable place with two bras and a spacious dining room - almost a fifties feel. Service was very good... More

We had our Christmas party dinner for our business and all stayed at the hotel. The restaurant is very chic and classy, but I found the menu a bit odd, and the portions were very small. Some of our guests were hungry a short time later after we went out after dinner. The menu was odd from the standpoint that... More

The hotel is fabulous (see review) but I think you can definitely find better dining options. The menu is small without a lot of options. My wife ordered a steak medium to medium well and what we received was a small piece of overcooked leather. We also ordered the grilled asparagus as a side. $12 for a few asparagus spears... More

Smyth is located in the Iron Horse Hotel, offering great coffee, a good tea selection and good local breakfast fare as well as healthy food options (for example, egg white omelettes). I opted for the egg white omelette with mushrooms spinach and ham, which rye toast and cheese grits (home fries and fruit were other side options). All food was... More

I don't eat meat so 1/2 the menu was out for me - but service, ambiance, and mimosas were awesome. I sat at the bar because I was solo on business. Tiramisu Pancakes were to die for! Will dream about these again! Order one pancake at a time!
