A two hour visit to a market??? You'd better believe it! What a treat Glorioso's was. We can understand why it is a Milwaukee institution. The prepared foods are absolutely delicious! Be sure to try their meatballs and baked goods. We also grabbed a number of different cheeses, olives and meats and fresh bread to take back to the hotel... More

This is a great place to have lunch and get some grocery. There is such a big variety of cheeses and deli foods and most are home made.

The sights, the smells, the tastes are great at Glorioso's. Wonderful selection of cheeses, Italian delicacies, cookies and wines. Sandwiches are amazing. I had the Muffuletta and my husband had the Italian Beef. Recommend.

Glorioso's has an excellent deli, lovely and delicious bakery, fresh Italian bread and rolls , a good variety of wine and an excellent grocery area stocked with Italian canned goods and pasta from Italy. They will make you a fresh sandwich with whatever fixings you want at the deli counter. They make their own Italian sausage and other goodies, of... More

I haven't experienced this place as a restaurant of cafe, but just as a market. This market has a great variety of sausages, meets, cheese, you name it! I could not find though the Spanish style sausage called CHORIZO *they only had the spicy one and I don't like it). But, I found something almost impossible to find in Milwaukee,... More

Glorioso's has a fresh new look and the choices are so abundant that the only problem could be one's ability to choose. Their olive bar is incredible. Try the prosciutto. You will not be disappointed. Truly a destination.

Charming old school Italian market, huge deli department, where the butchers and clerks encourage you to sample before you make up your mind. Cheese selection one of the largest in the city. The owner can be found on the floor, and is quick to engage you in conversation, and maybe share a recipe. Speaking of recipes, the old Glorioso family... More

People not already familiar with Glorioso's will be astonished by the breadth and quality of food selections: meats, breads, deli selections, canned and bottled sauces and gourmet items. Plus a friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff is always happy to help. A treasure of Milwaukee.

You will not find better sausages or meatballs. There is an endless supply of AWESOME salads and deli meats and cheeses. Also the best place to stop for a sandwich at lunch.

Glorioso’s Italian Market is a family-owned business located on Brady Street since 1946. Purveyors of old-world Italian specialties in the heart of Milwaukee's East Side. Fresh, handmade sausages, mouthwatering deli creations and piping hot pizza are just a few of our specialties. Browse our aisles of cheese, wine and pasta. Linger over the amazing selection of olive oils, fresh and frozen pastas, and delicious bakery creations. With a vast array of olives, cheeses, wines, imported meats and delectable sandwiches, along with pastries, cookies, and gelato, Glorioso’s is the perfect stop for a great meal.Glorioso’s has been tantalizing the public’s taste buds with rare Mediterranean treats for over 6 decades. Upon stepping over the threshold, you can see that, four generations later, this is one store that has kept its old world charm. As you walk through the store, you will see family photos scattered throughout. If you stay long enough, you’re bound to run into Joe, Ted or Eddie, the founding brothers, ready to fill you in on the history behind each photograph: from pictures when they got out of the service in WWII, to the first truck they bought for the store, to the TV commercials that feature cameos of two more family members. But if the looks alone aren’t enough, just inhale deeply and you will catch the aroma of one of the many secret family recipes wafting from the back deli. It could be Nonno Felice’s sausage recipe, made fresh daily. Or it could be the house marinara sauce simmering on the stove. Or the Trio’s pizza baking to perfection in the oven.Glorioso’s won the award for Small Business of the Year in 2007, and has had numerous articles written about us in the Milwaukee Journal and the Shepherd Express. We won “Milwaukee’s Best Deli - 2011" from OnMilwaukee and our new store has received several awards for its innovative design. Bring the family over, we'd love to meet you!
