Glorioso's is Milwaukee legend. Years of hard work and generosity. Years of long hours and late nights and this is what you get, a place that's like walking into an Italian Grandmothers kitchen. Full of love and great food. Teddy and his crew are part and parcel of the East side. Glorioso's is as ingrained in Milwaukee as beer and... More

Beautiful, quaint Italian market w excellent food, so many choices, warm and helpful staff. Best calzone I've ever had. Pizza is very good. Limoncello dessert is fantastic. Chi and gelato shakes so good. Don't miss this gem when in Milwaukee!

I ate lunch two times over the past two weeks at Gloriosos. True, as other reviewers state, this deli/sandwich counter sells an amazing variety of imported Italian specialties. However, the sandwiches I had were just very average in taste. I ordered the Chicago Combo on my first visit. It was supposed to have Italian beef and an Italian sausage in... More

If it's Italian, you will find it at Glorioso's, items like imported cheeses, home-made Italian sausages, salumi such as cappacola, soppresatta, prosciutti, and fresh meats cut especially for making your own spiedini, braciole, or Sicilian steak. Of course there is also an infinite variety is deli-case and prepared foods too numerous to describe, but eggplant Parmesan, meatballs, sauce, Gaeta to... More

Yummy food, well prepared sandwiches to go and hard to find Italian ingredients/utensils, but on the expensive side.

We always look forward to visiting Glorioso's when we return to Milwaukee. This store is what I call "comfort shopping". We bring our cooler and stock up on the delicious meats, cheese, olives, salads, etc. My husband can't resist Glorioso' s coffee, cannoli and Sciortino's breads. Our car smells like an Italian kitchen when we drive home. We decided to... More

I started to frequent Glorioso's market in the mid 70s in their previous location. I bought two handmade cannoli on Fridays with the change I saved as a nursing student. Since then I still make a trip a few times monthly for wine, hand cut Italian meats ( I prefer their sausage and ham from Italy) such as garlic Genoa,... More

Glorioso’s Italian Market is a family-owned business located on Brady Street since 1946. Purveyors of old-world Italian specialties in the heart of Milwaukee's East Side. Fresh, handmade sausages, mouthwatering deli creations and piping hot pizza are just a few of our specialties. Browse our aisles of cheese, wine and pasta. Linger over the amazing selection of olive oils, fresh and frozen pastas, and delicious bakery creations. With a vast array of olives, cheeses, wines, imported meats and delectable sandwiches, along with pastries, cookies, and gelato, Glorioso’s is the perfect stop for a great meal.Glorioso’s has been tantalizing the public’s taste buds with rare Mediterranean treats for over 6 decades. Upon stepping over the threshold, you can see that, four generations later, this is one store that has kept its old world charm. As you walk through the store, you will see family photos scattered throughout. If you stay long enough, you’re bound to run into Joe, Ted or Eddie, the founding brothers, ready to fill you in on the history behind each photograph: from pictures when they got out of the service in WWII, to the first truck they bought for the store, to the TV commercials that feature cameos of two more family members. But if the looks alone aren’t enough, just inhale deeply and you will catch the aroma of one of the many secret family recipes wafting from the back deli. It could be Nonno Felice’s sausage recipe, made fresh daily. Or it could be the house marinara sauce simmering on the stove. Or the Trio’s pizza baking to perfection in the oven.Glorioso’s won the award for Small Business of the Year in 2007, and has had numerous articles written about us in the Milwaukee Journal and the Shepherd Express. We won “Milwaukee’s Best Deli - 2011" from OnMilwaukee and our new store has received several awards for its innovative design. Bring the family over, we'd love to meet you!
