While the location may be unassuming, and the restaurant's name may be a bit ambiguous, Asian Fusion is easily one of the best restaurants in Milwaukee. I'll admit I haven't made it all the way up and down their menu, but that's largely because the...entrees I have tried have become the subjects of personal obsession. The spicy fish and pickled vegetable soup could cure a lifelong stutter, and the double cooked pork is like eating the entire concept of comfort. If you have the opportunity, please eat here, I need more people to understand how amazing this place truly is, because I cant shut up about it, and my friends and family are starting to look at me strangely.More

I wish I could say I enjoyed eating here, but I can’t. Sixty minutes for drinks and appetizers and 75 minutes for entrees is way too long to wait for dinner for 4. The server’s excuse was that the Kitchen was overwhelmed. I reminded him...that successful businesses plan for crowds in advance. If you dare go to Asian Fusion, make sure you have no other plans for the evening you visit here. You’ll need the time, waiting to get your food.More

The manager was terrible. I ordered a dish and the price was around $9. But when I got the check, it was $15. Then I asked the waiter to give me the menu to double check the price. I was surprised that the price is...not lined up with the dishes in the menu. Then the waiter apologized to me and told me that I just need to pay @$9, not $15. But after around 5 mins, the manager came over. He was rude and told me that I have to pay $15 for that dish. That was ridiculous. The price is also over prices. Just stay away this Chinese Restaurant.More

The food here is excellent (and I am Asian). To the other reviewer who commented about saltiness: when we ordered, the server accommodated our request for less salt and spice. They have legit Chinese food and also less exotic dishes that should appeal to everyone....The menu includes some gluten free items, too.More

Went with three other family members. We stopped by for an early dinner. Our group ordered a frog dish, lamb, fish and a few appetizers. The soy bean paste noodles were quite delicious. I thought the entree’s weren’t too bad, but they were just too...salty for me. In addition, the peppercorn overshadowed some of the flavor. A little less of those two and everything would’ve been fine. I would love to go back and request less salt to see if that makes a difference. Price is a bit more expensive, so be prepared to pay a little more.More

This place is located in a mini strip mall. We stopped here to try their bubble tea. The bubble tea is flavorful. The staff is nice and our order came out fast.

What a treasure! The environment is modern, yet welcoming. Delicious authentic Chinese food that is hot, abundant and oh so good. Asian customers frequent the restaurant.

If you enjoy some traditional dishes like, pig's blood in your soup, check this place out! We tried a few dishes b/c we had a groupon and to me, I think some of their dishes were over seasoned (too salty). If you enjoy real traditional...chinese food, you don't need much seasonings.More

We were with a group of eight and each of us ordered a different entree and shared with each other. Everything was wonderful. The service was excellent. The restaurant is clean and bright and they offer take-out as well as lots of seating. You can...also order in advance and pick up the food.More

First time here so we didn't know what to expect. Looking at the outside we had second thoughts going in. Like a Mini Strip Mall. Inside is very nice where we had our dinner. My wife ordered General Tso's Chicken and I had the Fish...Filet w. Chili Peppers. Her chicken could have been a little crispier because the sauce makes the coating softer. She loved it for the flavors. I thought my dish was fabulous. Never had this dish, it had many layers of flavors. A must try and a little on the spicy side. We are coming back!More

I was first introduced to this restaurant at the 2016 Wine and Dine event at the Convention Center (they call it something else now, but the name escapes me). But oh my gosh, I loved loved loved their restaurant! They had sample of bubble tea...in the really small dixie cups like the size that you would use to brush and rinse with. I had never had bubble tea and I fell in love with it! It was totally amazing! They also had sample of okra, which I love. They had some type of pork or turkey or I don't know as I didn't care for it. They also had some sort of potato pancake or something that was really good. Then they had these little open face shiny black things that looked rubbery! I tried them and oh my...it was a taste that I've never experienced before and were really really good! It turns out that they were mushrooms..black mushrooms!! Needles to say, I went back and got multiple samples of the mushrooms, bubble tea and okra! I went back more times than I care to say, it was almost embarrassing, but I didn't care, it was just sooooo good! Okay so now comes to the point where I'm literally craving bubble tea, so I meet up with a co-worker and we go for a late lunch. First I have to start off with bubble tea, I guess when I first tried it, it was sitting out and room temperature, so I was shocked to see that they serve it either cold or hot and it's prepackaged like! Soo I get it cold, then ..I opt for it warm and NO, IT JUST DIDN'T' TASTE THE SAME AT ALL AFTER THE LONG WAIT, I WAS SOOO DISAPPOINTED AS I'VE BEEN WANTING THIS TEA FOR SOOOO LONG! SO food is a bit well, it's not expensive, but a little bit higher than I would expect from a spot that's attached to a 7-11. Don't get me wrong the ambiance of the restaurant is shockingly nice and definitely fits the prices! I couldn't afford to get EVERYTHING THAT I WANTED, but I did get the mushrooms of course (which came in a massive quantity) but were GREAT! The two egg rolls were good as well and I also got chicken skewers with white rice and this cold noodle dish with a peanut sauce, which I didn't care for. The chicken skewers were very sweet and the texture was a bit weird as well. My co-worker ordered a plate of cabbage with dried baby shrimp and she loved it! Overall, I think I was expecting too much, nothing is ever as good as the 1st time! I may go back as it seems like an authentic Asian restaurant with real chefs and some unique to Americans dishes. As the prices aren't that inexpensive, I did notice that they have lunch specials that are very affordable for $7.55, so I think that I'll have to try that for my 2nd experience on a take out basis. That way if I'm not thrilled, I'm only out of 8 bucks and not out of the $24 plus tip that I spent. Oh yea..service. We were greeted at the door and seated, very nice. But our young female waitress didn't speak fluent English. My co-worker loves Early Gray tea and drinks it everywhere we go (I swear I don't know why she doesn't just carry tea bags around with her), but she was trying to see if they had it and the lady just didn't get it. So I said any black tea, doesn't have to be Earl Gray and she said no black, just green. So I said the bubble tea has to be made with a black tea, I could taste that and she had to go get someone else for us to speak to. They don't have black tea, but yes the bubble tea is made with black tea and he brought it to my co-worker it definitely wasn't her normal cup of tea, but she enjoyed it.More

Having been to Beijing four times in the last decade, I can attest to authenticity. Service was prompt and courteous. Kids loved the Hunan pork. The bill was higher than anticipated. You can't go wrong here.

This newly opened and decorated fusion restaurant in a strip mall was quite a treat. The interior is rich with tiles and colors just as the food was full of flavors. I had the poached fish soup at $19.95 which was enough for two people....It was bubbly and tasty with some red dried peppers which could be easily be avoided because they were so big if one does not like spice. Another person in our party had a noodle bowl nicely served in an artful dish. The eggplant in a clay pot was another winner. Of course we shared and marveled. All of us took a container home for lunch the next day. When I go back, I'm going to share an entrée and add in one or two of the appetizers that we didn't try. In fact, even though I'm from out of town, I'll be back several times to sample more of the menu.More
