Over the last year the quality of the food has gone down but the prices have gone up. The menu has changed and certain specialties are now limited to one day a month.

I'd seen these restaurants before but didn't have the chance to try one until now. A coworker and I were traveling on business and he had been there and it's one of his favorites. So I agreed and loved the atmosphere as soon as we walked in. I ordered the Philly Steak sandwich and it was amazing. But even better... More

They have some great food items---the biker chick salad is very good. The noise level is so bad that you can't carry on a conversation with the people at your table.

Family of 5. Dinner was great for all. Rubs, and bacon cheeseburgers where spot on. Had the pretzels for an appetizer and the beer cheese dip when great together.

The food was mediocre at best. The server didn't seem to care when I took the raw bacon off my sandwich and set it aside. She didn't seem to care about anything. She had no enthusiasm AT ALL. Her monotone voice almost put me to sleep and she barely looked at us. My husband and I sat in the bar,... More

Very nice sports type bar and restaurant. Love the theme and the decor. The menu was interesting with the wing choices. Love a place that serves different levels of heat in the wings. Everything was delicious. Easy to find off 12 and 14 near hotels and shops.

The food was OK but it was hard to talk because of background noise. The setting was good for car fans but could not hear what anyone.

My wife and I were on our third leg of a trip from North Carolina to northern Minnesota. We saw a sign advertising Quaker Steak and Lube. Having eaten at one before and having been impressed, we let our GPS lead us about 15 miles off I-94. Quaker Steak and Lube is a restaurant chain capitalizing on the motor oil... More

Stopped for lunch and wanted to catch some of the game on TV. This place has a nice bar area. Several TVs. Sunday happens to be happy hour all day. 2 dollars off apps and 1.50 off draft and bottles. Derek was our server. He was excellent. We had a good lunch.

Description
It was 1974 when our country had its first gas crisis. The price of gasoline was skyrocketing, gas stations were closing nationwide, and carmakers began exploring how to develop cars that got better mileage.

But for George "Jig" Warren III and Gary "Moe" Meszaros, it wasn't about better mileage or for that matter even obeying the new 55 M.P.H speed limit. It was about finding a home to preserve the culture of those old gas stations and high-powered muscle cars.

So was born Quaker Steak & Lube(R), a "Cook Your Own Steak" restaurant that gave old muscle cars a permanent home, which included a 1936 Chevrolet, frozen in time on the original hydraulic grease rack.

It is from these beginnings that the Quaker Steak & Lube(R) family of restaurants began. Today, "The Lube(R)" serves over 80 million wings annually, has bottled sauces for retail sale, has won the title of "Best Wings USA," and has hundreds of local, national, and international awards for their sauce recipes. Over 60 locations throughout the United States and Canada, "The Lube(R)" is still rescuing muscle cars, vintage cars, trucks and a vast selection of custom and antique motorcycles, giving them good homes hanging from the walls and ceilings in each restaurant.
