Only steakhouse in Menomoinie with steaks and decor straight out of the 80's. Portions are generous and prepared nicely. Staff are friendly albeit not very knowledgeable. Likely, nicest place in Menomonie.
I come to Menomonie each year for a conference. When friends visit me from out of town I always suggest Skoogs. I was at a national board meeting and surprised none of my colleagues had been here and they LOVED that I introduced them to...More
I am a meat and potatoes guy. Had the filet, it was awesome. My wife had the fancy pork chop, it was excellent also. Service was excellent. Atmosphere comfortable, you could wear shorts and T-shirts here. I am a weary traveler. Ratings are always dependent...More
We live in Lake Hallie and have some friends from River Falls that we wanted to meet for. a nice dinner. They suggested we meet in Menomonie at Skoogs. It had been many years since they had eaten there and we had never.

We went with a group of seven for a birthday celebration. Waitress was attentive and helpful. The food was delicious. Pleasant atmosphere. I had the cherry chicke, which was delicious. The popovers were delicious!
My Wife had the Ravioli and I had Liver and Onions (old school). Both came with the soup and salad bar which had a very good clam chowder. Then the popover arrived with the cinnamon butter. By the time the entrees arrived we were already...More
My wife and I along with other family members have eaten a Skoog’s a number of times. We have always enjoyed the atmosphere and the menu selections. The service at times has been somewhat slow and some of the menu variations have been just okay....More
