We drive an hour quite often for the perch at Waverly. Juicy, plump, great batter. Today? A different batter, super salty, mono sodium glutamate aftertaste, overcooked, like frozen fish sticks with the fish missing. It was awful. Waitress told us they had changed. Potato salad...had more mayo than potato and bees were everywhere. Drive an hour? We wouldn’t walk across the street for this meal.More

I have been coming to Waverly for years. The best I could say about this visit was that the waitress was good. I ordered the “jumbo shrimp,” which I have always enjoyed. To my surprise, I got “popcorn shrimp.” I could have made some from...my own freezer for a whole lot less - these were not great. I ordered a glass of Chardonnay, which was good. When I got the bill, the wine was fairly expensive. It turns out they have 2 kinds of Chardonnay, and they gave me the more expensive one without asking. This was a disappointing visit. I see no reason to return.More

Two of us met at Waverly Beach for lunch on a Friday. We were the first to arrive when it opened, and we sat outside. The view of Lake Winnebago is fantastic, you're right on the water. Our waitress was friendly and very nice. This...was my first time at Waverly Beach. I was disappointed in the food. I ordered what the menu called a Grilled Chicken Sandwich. The chicken breast was not grilled at all; there were no grill lines. I think it was cooked in a skillet. The meat was dry, and the entire sandwich was disappointing. The side of coleslaw was a very small portion. I'm not sure it was worth $10 - A Chick fil-A sandwich would have been better and cheaper, but of course no view. Service and view of the lake were the positives of this visit. I would return again, because of the service and the view, and I will plan to order something else and see if that's any better.More

Seems to be moving in the direction of being cheap and just making money. Menu still states the salads are mixed greens. It's just a like of chopped iceberg lettuce. Awful

I have never seen such disrespect before in my life. I didn’t realize that bouncers now don’t have to ID everyone, As long as they look old enough they are told they look old and they don’t need to see it. How rude to say...to anyone. And they singled only one girl out, We walked in with at least 15 of us for a party and they had no one in the bar so they lost out on a lot of business from us because after I had a chat with the bouncer who disrespected a girl with us they kick me out, so everyone else followed. If I was you I would find a different place to go to and never go back.More

Waverly Beach is a restaurant as part of a meeting/wedding/entertainment venue on the north shore of Lake Winnebago. We had lunch on the patio overlooking the lake. The grounds are extensive with child-friendly and adult activity possibilities. The service was friendly, efficient, and the food...was great. The lunch menu features a wide variety of burgers and specialty sandwiches, along with several Mexican offerings and comfort-food meals. The prices are reasonable. A Tiki bar is on-site but not open when we were there (they do have Happy Hours most days). This is a great place for outdoor dining on a nice summer day or evening and, looking at the grounds and facilities, looks like a great place for any group event.More

No one is wearing masks, tables are not 6 feet apart outside, bartenders not wearing face masks or gloves, no masks on food runners or wait staff, and people aren’t staying 6 feet away. Won’t go back until the virus is gone.

I enjoy a good burger and a beer right on the lake, but unfortunately the servers aren’t protecting and respecting customers by wearing masks. Won’t be back anytime soon.

Stopped by for a weekday lunch. Great place for views of lake Winnebago anytime of year. Unfortunately, the service today was very slow for lunchtime. The food however, was very good, just don't bother telling them how you want your meat cooked, it will always...be well done. Come for the drinks, atmosphere, and appetizers.More

Parking is a gravel pressed lot. The building is a very large plain shed-like structure. Inside is just as plain with the look of a basic college dining hall. The tiki bar is unimpressive. What is a plus are the large windows with a view...of the lake. The menu is sufficient and the cocktails include a special or two, but otherwise typical.More

Yes, things were spaced out and masks on everyone. There is a lot of room, even on the grass, so you could move further out if you felt like it. But I wouldn't worry.

While we have not attended many concerts, Waverly does have a large indoor banquet type room that can hold many people. I would assume a “seat ticket “ would get you closer to the band then a standing ticket. Even with a... More
