The proportions were more than enough to satisfy anyone and the price was good! Cafe was very clean, and well maintained. Cooks were very concerned that we were happy with our meal and service. To top it off the food and service was excellent!

Rich has called it quits. I drove by the place today and the building is empty. Will Rich reopen somewhere else in Manitowoc, in another town, state? Will he go on a great adventure? Manitowoc is a sadder town now that this great little place has closed. Fair seas to you Rich, may the wind be at your back.

My picky eater husband loved the spicy chicken wrap, claiming it was best he's had so far. It was not just a flour tortilla but also grilled to have some flavor and crisp to it. Lovely hot peppers too. The place itself is very small and has character to it. Friendly, chatty staff. Went during lunchtime so no idea how... More

Long time since I had a really good cup of Honduran coffee, it was great. Veggie wrap was prepared fresh and was large enough to cut in half and share. Ambience is eclectic, books on the shelf included Occult, Buddhism and vegetarian cookbooks.

This is the place to stop when travel takes you up or down I-43. It is not far off the interstate, exit Hwy 151, and ignore all the strip mall chains. Rich is a small local business owner doing his best to give you good coffee and vegetarian food at reasonable prices. I had an iced coffee and to my... More

I appreciate that Rich is conscious of his purchasing power and not only grows veggies on site, builds relationships with sustainable growers and stays true to his vegan mission while embracing social issues in a small community that's talks about supporting local businesses while at the same time builds box stores and fast food chains. culture cafe signage challenges us... To the guy who gave this one star, hang your head in shame. Just an an ugly soul. Great food, great owner, great experience. All the ingredients are local or organic. I was just there for lunch, had a wonderful spicy veggie burger. If you are someone who cares about the quality of the food you eat, this is the... More

The reviews I've read here are for the most part accurate. The owner is extremely nice and so are the workers. The coffee and vegetarian food are excellent!!!!! I didn't know what to expect when I went in, and I was a little self-conscious at first because I was sitting there alone, but I enjoyed talking to the owner. He's... More

Hand crafted mochas, handmade scones & great conversation. Very unique open minded cafe in a small town. All walks of life are accepted @Culture Cafe. I fly in from Denver& sit with my baby while the Lutheran Pastors chit chat off to the side& the musicians catch up @another table. Rich, the owner, entertains us with great stories. Fresh, healthy meals,... More

We stopped in for a cup to go because my boyfriend went here all the time when he lived in manitowoc. They were close to closing and the place was empty but the owner gladly still made us some coffee. What a great guy! Place had a lot of fun stuff to look at on the walls.
