Read about this place on a travel Wisconsin website. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's a very cute clean diner inside! My husband and I each had a bobs burger boat and we split a French vanilla malt. Total: $14.65. Friendly waitress. The Burger boat came with fries. The fries were those skinny ones that were... Found this gem thru TripAdvisor reviews-- and they were true! Great place for no thrills good cooking from breakfast up to dinner. I had the fried perch, lightly breaded and fried just right, not heavy. Had potato salad and slaw-very good. Huge portions! Couldn't eat it all. Friendly service too! A local fav!

Excellent food! Good Service and I bet everything is good here! We had bacon cheeseburgers, fries and hash browns and a pop and a butterscotch malt. I also tried the beef barley soup which was definitely homemade and delicious! I love a place where you get the mixing cup when you order a malt!

I got the feeling that this place is well-known to the locals but maybe not so many tourists find it. It's a little out of the downtown area in Manitowoc and doesn't look like much from the outside. The food was excellent, however. I had a bacon cheeseburger that was outstanding and a chocolate malt that was so big I... More

I think this is one of those small-town places that people either Love or they don't... I went there for the first time today, and was blurping-up "onion-ey" something for the rest of the day/evening. I'm told that it's part of the "Experience." Perhaps I will give it another try... Just saying that for now, I just don't understand why... More

This was my first time here, I will come again to give it another chance. The food was great. We had cheeseburgers and fries. The price was unbeatable, I loved the atmosphere, very retro/greasy spoon burger joint. Our waitress was the problem. Very short and non caring. We were her last table at the end of her shift and it... More

Stopped at Bud Willman's for breakfast on recommendation of several locals. The place seems to be known for its burgers, which we will have to experience on our next Manitowoc trip. Breakfast was prepared perfectly and portions were more than ample. The atmosphere is, well close your eyes and imagine an old-time diner -- that's it.

Our party of 8 ate here for lunch on our way home from Door County to Chicago. The menu had a large variety and the prices were just right. The restaurant was clean and tidy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and all arrived at the same time and warm! Excellent hidden gem and will... More

A clean restaurant with many choices on the menu including breakfast all day. I recommend the burger and would skip the side salad it was quite lacking (iceberg lettuce and two slices of tomato).
