Excellent coffee, pastries and light meals are offered here in this charming coffee house seated on a hill with a beautiful lake view. Enjoy refreshments and the view from their deck when weather allows. It was rainy when we were there, so sat inside by the large picture windows. Staff was friendly and prices were in line with other national-brand coffee houses. Premises was extremely clean and the spring flowers just planted outside were beautiful. What a great stop during a northwoods visit.

Stopped here last Sunday morning for coffee and breakfast and to wait out the rain before continuing on our trip. Spacious, homey and a lovely lake view. Great coffee and breakfast food, too.

Visited for the first time today - good coffee and snacks, with an outstanding view from the dining room, patio and dock. Was very busy on this holiday weekend. We’ll be back during our next trip to Manitowish Waters.

We've been here before while biking in Manitowish Waters. It's really cute. The grounds are well taken care of with beautiful flowers around the lawn. The view is beautiful. Most of the time we get coffee and some kind of sweet treat. This time our cappuccino was mostly froth. We missed the coffee part as there was hardly any. But, the raspberry scone was delicious. For 3 scones and a cappuccino (M) it was $17. and change. There's a variety to their menu with soups, sandwiches, tea, coffee, quiche, smoothies, and other refreshing drinks.

I love this place. I was visiting Manitowish Waters and was looking for a coffee shop. I found this one and found that it was within walking distance of my hotel. It was very convenient. This place was very picturesque and just a lovely sight. It was right by a lake and was beautiful. Not to mention, the coffee is delicious along with the pastries. If you are visiting Manitowish Waters, stop by this hidden gem!

The coffee is fantastic and the cozy, comfort of the bright and airy shop is so inviting.
They know all the small touches to make this a perfect place to stop for coffee, soup or a sandwich. Whomever is responsible for decorating these Uline businesses, is a genius. The decor is flawless and the shop is spotless. Very comforting and inviting place. Beautiful views year round. Worth the drive from Three Lakes, WI. for sure!

My husband and I ate lunch at Dixie's yesterday, and it wasn't easy to find parking because they were busy, but that's a good sign. We ate lunch inside at a table, and then finished our coffee drinks outside overlooking the lake. The restaurant itself is beautifully done, with lovely plantings and planters, and everything looking very well-kept. We had paninis, served with bagged chips, and the sandwiches were tasty. However, we had cafe mochas and they were a big disappointment. The coffee in
them was so weak that there was no sign of it in the flavor, and the Mocha flavor did not come through either. It was like having a really watered down drink with very little flavor. We wondered how much espresso was even used....or do they use just regular coffee in these drinks? Every staff person who interacted with us was pleasant, but many very young workers, so maybe they are not experienced as baristas. So, good tasting food, but sad coffee.... We will go back again, but if ordering a coffee drink, will taste it before leaving to be sure the quality is OK.

My wife and daughter simply love this place ... not like, LOVE! Last fall we were in Minocqua for a few days and made the drive to Manitowish Waters every day for coffee. My wife is actually making plans for our fall vacation next year and Dixies is a must stop! So nicely decorated, beautiful view, and she REALLY enjoys the outdoor seating. See you in the fall.
