Joe Rouer's is steeped in Wisconsin tradition and folk lore. Many great stories come out of the many years Joe's doors have been open. One thing that is not lore and indded is fact is that you will get a really good burger and friendly service. The place gets busy especially in summer. If you are on your way to... More

One of my very favorite burger places, although I live clear across the country from it. Yummy, greasy and fabulous burgers. Fries are good too, but it's the burger I'm here for. Only sad thing was no Leinie's on tap...Spotted Cow seems to have taken over the taps in WI these days. Do not miss this place if you are... More

Brought my wife and our AFS student from Norway. We all had a cheeseburger and fries. There was no evidence remaining and we enjoyed every bite. The best burgers anywhere. Prices are so reasonable. Great place to stop on the way to Door County. Just a few miles off the freeway. Check it out.

Always good food. They are well known for the burgers, but all of their food is good. They also have soups and desserts. Be prepared for crowds. They are also closed on Mondays.

This little place has even here for decades, just north of Green Bay. The menu is very short and simple. They are famous for burgers which are served simply In a basket with a big side of sliced dill pickles and fries. The burgers are about 30 percent bigger than the bun! They are also well known for pea soup... More

If you play golf in this area, it is almost mandatory that you stop at Joe Rouer's Bar for a hamburger. The sign says "3 Million Sold" !! That is a lot of burgers!! The stable order is for a cheeseburger with fried onions on it. But, they have various other sandwiches. The wait staff is courteous, friendly and extremely... More

Had lunch on Joe Rouer's outside deck. The burgers were excellent along with great fries and poppers. Service was friendly and prompt. This is a Green Bay landmark and the burgers are outstanding. Well worth the drive and would highly recommend this place.
