Been here a few times in the past and always recommend it to people. Service is always great and the food is good. The atmosphere is brilliant, the diner is a genuine diner shipped over from the States. The food is a little over priced in my eyes but the experience is more what you pay for. Milkshakes are amazing... More

The 50's American Diner is an authentic experience with great music, lots of memorabilia and the staff all wear clothes suiting the period. The food is very tasty....there are a variety of burgers and hot dogs, served with lashings of very well made fries (you'll never manage the large portion!), but if that's not your style, there is meatloaf or... Visited whilst in the area. Read reviews and wanted to experience the actual diner. Went Sunday at 3:30pm, parking limited outside, but we got a space easily. Great atmosphere/background music, great surroundings. Staff friendly and dressed in the 50's attire. Food is quite expensive for what it is - but combined with the location, it actually was very enjoyable. I... More

I saw this little gem and j thought I'd check it out online. Reviews were mixed but mostly positive. So we booked a table. And I was surprised. When I walked in I was greeted with smiles and 50s music, the restaurant looks amazing. With classic displays signs and 50s American "stuff". The menu consists of loads of different burgers... More

Traditional American diner building imported from the US. Great ambience and decor. It's just like being here! Well trained and pleasant staff. Burgers, dogs, steak, ribs, Mac n' cheese and chicken. Meat loaf with candied bacon. Very wide selection of shakes and ice cream too. Food is fast food American diner style, put together with thought so it has it's... More

We booked into the diner as a last night meal to our family holiday and seriously disappointed!! It was clean and the thick shakes was amazing but the food taste and presentation was shocking. The kids meals was that small there fit for a baby,my lad never complains but said his beans were cold,my daughters chicken nuggets was over deep... More

When I was younger friends used to tell me of how their parents had taken them to a 50's American diner in Swad and of how the shakes were thick, portions huge and food tasty - and of course how the diner was really quirky and also filled with cute waitresses. I was always jealous, and actually slightly dubious about... More

We visited yesterday for my birthday and very much enjoyed it. It's such an interesting building, the staff are so friendly, our table had some decorations on it and I got a little birthday cake and Happy birthday played over the speakers, a nice touch. We are vegetarians and there were hot dogs, a burger plus a couple of other... More

Honestly, I was expecting more that what I got. I have been going to the OK Diner just outside of Burton on Trent for a while now, but heard about this place, and it's a little closer too, so naturally I had to try it out. The trailer is great, but it was tacky. The food wasn't good - the... More

Hi leia I feel i have to reply to your review as i feel that writing six review is one day your comments may have got slightly muddled! As an original building with 65 years of memorabilia and history ,we cannot understand why you call us tacky! Yes we have a few age related dinks but ,hey ,whats not to... More
