Had dinner here one evening on our trip. View was very nice but food not so much. I had the chicken piccata but could not finish it because it was way too salty. My husband had the wedge salad which was delicious and the seabass,...not so much. Sauce was just too overpowering for the delicious seabass. Had strawberry shortcake for dessert. Could not put fork through shortcake!! Waitress did not even ask us how our dinner was. Just disappointed in restaurant. Could be much better.More

Had an excellent dinner for our 40th anniversary overlooking the lake and received complimentary champagne. Weiner schnitzel and scallops were both EXCELLENT and well prepared and seasoned. Reasonably priced restaurant for fine dining

My family and I (8 adults, 6 kids) dined at the Grandview Sunday evening. First I want to say the reservation team was incredible, super accommodating. We ended up in a semi private room with a magnificent view of the lake. Our server Terri was...amazing. Attentive, accommodating and just all around great! The food was exceptional (home made pastas, chicken piccata, sea bass, tomahawk pork chop, steak were some of our selections) and everything was made perfectly, including the kids home made Mac and Cheese. Dessert were a sweet and delicious end to the night. I highly recommend this place!More

Six of us family members celebrated my birthday in the attractive dining room overlooking Geneva Lake. Saturday brunch/lunch combo menu worked well so each of us could choose from either menu. Food was just fair--had expected better. French toast just ok with 2 bacon strips-just...ok. !/2 Club sandwich with cup of soup-just ok. Taco plates fared better. Service was awesome! Amanda S. was sweet, friendly, helpful and treated me to a yummy brownie with a candle (+ a Happy Birthday card) to celebrate. She also cheerfully set us up for a group photo by the wine rack ("best backdrop")More

A lovely anniversary card was waiting for us when we were seated at our table overlooking the lake. My husband loved his weiner schnitzel (veal) with red cabbage, spaetzle and brussels sprouts and a Geneva Wedge Salad of Iceberg Lettuce, Apple-wood smoked Bacon, Heirloom Tomato,...Bleu Cheese, Balsamic Reduction, and Bleu Cheese Dressing. I enjoyed the Statler Chicken, with thyme, fried sage, wild mushrooms in a chardonnay sauce over a bed of pancenta polenta. I had never had polenta before, and found it to be unique and delicious. We had excellent service from Terri, who surprised us with a special, complementary anniversary dessert. We'll definitely return on our next visit to Lake Geneva, perhaps for lunch to enjoy a better view of the lake.More

Very nice, intimate setting!! The menu is limited, but with interesting selections. Everything we ordered was presented nicely, and tasted fantastic. The service was very good and the prices reflect an upscale resturaunt where the chef is creative, and takes pride in his/her work. The...seating is very comfortable, and they have seats at the floor to ceiling windows overlooking Geneva Lake. This is not a “tourist resturaunt”, but rather a fine dining resturaunt, in a very intimate setting, which is great for a romantic dinner, or celebration. I highly recommend this resturaunt, and will definitely go here again!More

We are VERY wary of dining inside with covid. In fact, we've only done so twice. However, we stayed at this hotel and wanted to be able to drink some quality wine and not worry about driving back! The restaurant had great social distancing measures...in place. We were very far from the next table (probably 15 feet), the serves and bartenders had masks on the whole time. I felt very safe. The meal was excellent as was the wine. Would highly recommend!More

I shall be brief. We were provided the worst possible table in the house at the top of a flight of stairs and the food was expensive but about as bland as it gets. I cannot recommend going here. Lake Geneva has a vast selection...of made to high end restaurants suitable for dinner that are sure to provide a higher quality dinning experience. We will spare the grim details as this was our first visit and perhaps they had an off night. But we will not recommend or return.More

We were pleased with our dinner. Both the gaspacho and goulash soups were excellent. Shrimp cocktail had huge shrimp. Lobster ravioli, rack of lamb both excellent, scallops a bit greasy—-not really a beurre blanc. Excellent prices on the wine specials. Our server was friendly and...attentive, but not annoying. Nice views from the tiered indoor dining room.More

All the rooms are spectacular. The cruise around lake Geneva would be a great option in the fall & of course the downtown section has much to offer in dining & great gift shops.
