We are not going to hammer this place cause it does not deserve it. But the food was not good or good enough to eat there again or a 2nd time if you are just visiting Lake Geneva.
The food was just meh...
We will...just leave it at that.More
We dined at Sprecher's in mid-October. Is there a more iconic name in Wisconsin brewing than Sprecher's? We HAD to try their restaurant while in Lake Geneva. The service was 5 star; the food was 4.5 - 5 star; the experience was a must-do-again next...time we visit Lake Geneva. Views of the lake from the dining room were spectacular -- fall colors were exploding. A must eatery for anyone visiting the Lake Geneva area!More
My husband and I had hoped to go to a steakhouse for an anniversary meal. All we could find were steaks for $30-$50 per entree. So not worth it. We stumbled on Sprechers and my husband ordered their great tasting top sirloin. So juicy and...satisfying. I got the fish and chips. Waitress was friendly and helpful, switching out sides. So, we were able to order just what we wanted. Best meals in Lake Geneva! Thanks!More
The food was good and they were very sanitary. I was not happy at all with chemical the were using to clean the tables.
It started raining outside and had no choice but to smell the gross scent. Great beers on tap but the can...use some more German Lager Beers.More
As we were being seated, the young hostess nearly hit the server carrying a full tray as hostess rapidly swung open the patio door. When we hesitated to let the server put down her tray, we got a disgusted look from the hostess. Outdoor servers...were wearing these half-face shield coverings...barely above their noses, and completely open to the air above their noses...completely defeated the purpose. My other half asked what beers were on tap, server said ok, and disappeared. He got root beer. She slopped my drink, wiped up the puddle, but not the glass nor ring under the glass, so we were a magnet for the bees. When we were barely halfway finished with our sandwiches, she arrived to ask if we were interested in dessert. By the last bite, she’d dropped off the check. When I asked if there was a time limit for us at the table, although we’d been there barely 30 minutes, she totally missed my point and replied “oh no, stay as long as you’d like”. We certainly didn’t feel welcome to relax with our meal. The bees were AWFUL outside, certainly not the restaurant’s fault. Sandwiches, a Reuben and schnitzel, were good, not exceptional. Probably won’t return.More
Our Uber Driver suggested the Sprecher Restaurant & Pub for lunch on a rainy day in Lake Geneva. Our server was attentive and wore a mask. We had the pulled pork and the BBQ burger sandwiches. Both were $13.59 and came with a side. The...food was good. My husband also had a cup of loaded potato soup which he thought was excellent. Prices were a bit high for a pub in a small town, but the food and service was good.More
