The Baker House tour was very well presented preceding our high tea. The teas were very satisfying; I tried all three: Londonderry, Cherry & Vanilla. Everything was beautifully presented and was simply delicious. There happened to be a wedding, which provided us with even more enjoyment. I would like to return as soon as possible!

We did not eat there, but attended the mystery night event. We had a blast. Every game is different so we will definately return. The cast of characters who guided the players were hilarious!

Stopped here for a drink and discovered a plethora of hats. The beautiful bar and view of the lake is another reason to stop. Try on a hat and kick back with a well poured drink.

We just returned for the most wonderful experience of a lifetime. We were celebrating our anniversary and were in desperate need of pampering! We were not disappointed. The funny and friendly staff gave us a historic tour of this remarkable mansion! Whatever we desired was right there.I never had a butler before but it's easy to get used to! A... More

The Sunday Brunch was excellent and the Baker house stunning. Be sure to ask your server about the history of the Baker's and their home. Very interesting! Great selections from omelettes to crab cakes and dessert to die for. Chocolate Fondu went down smoothly! A fun feature is you can choose from hundreds of fun hats (Victorian style of course)... I expected something Really special when I booked this restaurant/Hotel for dinner. So much Victorian Glitz and Fluff. It was a Smack down disappointment. Seating on an enclosed front porch where the late afternoon sun beat down on you. The seating was HORRIBLE UNCOMFORTABLE. If you like sitting on a low settee or a hard tiny strait back chair at... We celebrated Venetian Night at the Baker House. Had friends join us. The Baker House ambiance, the food, the server staff, is plain outright amazing. But Sunday night was extra special, the owner put on quite an incredible Masquerade Ball. Masks. Decorations. The food was amazing. And the entertainment was fitting of Broadway. From Opera to a dynamo duo theatrical... More

Amazing old building, staff is in costume of the era. You have to stop in and see it. Even if its just for a drink at the famous Hat Bar. You are urged to where one of their original antique hats while you enjoy a cocktail. It is a little pricey, but so much fun.

A friend and I made dinner reservations at 8:30pm. We heard about the sunset toast. It's a really beautiful concept. They ring a bell and everyone goes outside to the outdoor area where there are some cabana seating areas and fire pits. It overlooks the Lake. A gentleman comes out and gives some history on this beautiful historic place. They... More
