Apparently this restaurant has been around for awhile, its one of those that has the out of town newspaper clippings on the wall wen you see the hostess. The food is moderate to expensive, but very very good. I had the Walleye and my wife had a small steak and a salad. I also fed 4 kids, and we came... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Great food! Fabulous service! Thanks Dale. Our party had ribs, ravioli, and perch. Everything was superb! If we are ever back in the area will definitely go back. They made the best grasshopper I've ever had. Yum.

Happy hour was everything! I was drawn into the restaurant because of the smell of smoked and grilled food. The appetizers were decently priced. The atmosphere was fine dining perfection! I will be returning For more prime rib!!

We had heard about their barbecued ribs (my wife's favorite food) so we thought we would try it out. What a great discovery! We found a special that they have quite often: 1/3 rack of BBQ ribs and BBQ chicken with mashed potatoes and vegetable medley for two people at less than $15. I don't think it was meant for... More

We had the ribs, three cheese ravioli, kids pizza and chicken strips with fries! The meat fell off the bone with the ribs. The ravioli was cooked perfectly with the homemade marinara. Prices were average to a sit down restaurant not a quick, fast food place. Our waitress was great and courteous!

We went for oysters and to try it out after passing it for so many years. As patrons of all sorts of restaurants this place was the biggest disappointment in the Dells. The young lady who sat us was the only good thing. She was considerate of our seating bc we looked like we had been in sun all day... More

Thank you for visiting our family owned supper club, House of Embers. Glad you tried the oysters. We sell around 250 to 350 oysters a week. They come in as fresh as we are able to get them and customers love them. Unfortunately yours did not arrive in a timely fashion. The kitchen does get backed up opening oysters. They... More

We really didn't like this place They boast of themed rooms.....we didn't see much spectacular The food.... I had the filet and while it was extremely tender it had NO flavor other than chargrilled My party said the fish was bland And the whole experience is wayyy overpriced I would pass on this place and go to ishnala instead

Had a reservation for a party of 8 for Friday fish fry and we were seated right away. Our server, Kennedy, was awesome. He didn't skip a beat. Our drink order came out quickly, and our food followed shortly after. The fish was very good and we all had a great experience. Will definitely visit there again.

Went to the House of Embers on a beautiful June evening to enjoy the outdoor patio. The menu has a variety of dinners to choose from steaks, ribs, seafood and pasta. I had the shrimp crostini appetizer and loved it. For dinner, my wife and I decided on the dinner for two which is a 24 oz Ribeye Steak and... More

The place looked great from outside and we were both excited we had a $10 off coupon and we were HUNGRY. My pasta was under seasoned and the most prominent flavor was butter. He got the Mahi-mahi and it was 25 bucks worth horrible tasting fish. It was dry and the veggies were super salty over cooked potatoes and burnt... More

Thank you for trying The House of Embers, a family owned business since 1959. We are sorry that you did not like your meal. Our Alfreddo sauce is made from heavy cream, parmesan cheese, garlic, salt and pepper. You might not be used to real cream or real parmesan cheese which is what we use when we make our homemade...
