Just returned home from dinner at the Summer House. It was a quality experience from start to finish. Excellent advice on drinks. Appetizer and dinner were served in timely manner. Presentation and content were impeccable. All over an exceptional experience. Return visits are assured.
we visited this place last year and really enjoyrd our experience and the food. i dont know how a restaurant can fall so far in one season. our visit was ridiculous from start to finish.. We ordered fish frys and our waitress Traci didnt know...they were on the menu. i had to point it out to her. i understood after we were served as it was as bad as it could possibly be, everything on the plate was tasteless. The perch were in the fryer about a minute too long as they were brown and dry and tasteless. i had also ordered the shrimp chowder and ir should have been called Mexican Shrimp Chowder as it was very spicy, a chowder, what's up with that! The food was so bad we couldn't finish our food, we then spent about 15 minutes looking for our waitress to ask for check. She finally came by and we informed her of our opinion of the quality of the food. She apologized and left. I then waited another 15 minutes to pay my bill and i could not find my waitress anywhere. i then went up to the bar to pay and they told me they couldn't take my money. Bartender went to get waitress to take my credit card. the transaction closed quickly so i was able to get out of there and never plan on returning. With the drop in food quality and service quality they experienced in one year, I dont think they will be a choice much longer.More
Disappointed, starting with lukewarm soup, salad was generous and very good..walleye dinner ordered by4 out of 8, again lukewarm and very salty, corn was cold..very subpar food..won't be back..Caryl
The Views & food were on point. The staff were amazing and accommodating. If you are traveling with meat eaters and Veggie lovers you need to make a stop here. The burgers were delicious.
Great experience. Samantha the bartender was amazing. The bartender has great communication skills and makes some awesome drinks that are on the menu. A large group of friends and relatives enjoyed a fantastic lunch here. The food and service were wonderful, the facility fun, clean and with a great view of the lake. Impressed with how our server, an aspiring photographer, took care of us all!
This place is awesome. Great views, friendly staff, and delicious food. We enjoyed it so much we went back to get milkshakes the next day and enjoy the patio. They had live music and a bar outside as well. Would recommend the seared ahi sliders...and the crab roll!More
Honestly… this place was amazing! We are en route to Chicago and so happy we found this place. Beautiful view and ambiance. Great prices and delicious food. 100% would recommend!
I enjoyed a fresh salad with perfectly grilled salmon on the outdoor patio. The views of the lake were quite serine.
The outdoor deck is awesome. Very nice view of the lake. The server, Jose, was attentive. The hostess was friendly. No complaints about staff. The food was average. I ordered the prime rib sandwich. It was essentially a pricey Italian beef. Nothing special.
Attractive restaurant in a lovely location! We enjoyed lunch on the patio which overlooks the lake. Courtney, our server, was friendly & helpful--and patient--as we tried to figure out what our lunch choices would be!!
The view from the outdoor patio is amazing which overlooks Lake Delton. Top that off with great tasty food and great service made for a perfect dining experience. Summer House was also very clean and decorated so cute. Perfect for a night out with friends....Not a place for young children.More
Food was tasty and the service was fast. Had the Chicken Sandwich with Chips and an Ice Tea, the tea is brewed not the powdered kind very good. Prices I feel are expensive though.
Sitting on the outside patio you get a great view of Lake Delton and all of the water activities. Services friendly and efficient. The patty melt was well prepared and tasty. The same can not be said of the shoestring fries - very bland.
The deck and view are great. The service was really slow - we ordered basic food and waited 40 minutes even though we went during an off-time. The food is average bar food - fried stuff from a frozen box, boring salads, etc. But, it...was cheap, so I guess we got what we paid for. Go for a sunset cocktail. Eat dinner somewhere else.More
