I visited with a friend & we both ordered prime rib medium rare. When it was served, it looked overdone (wasn't pink) & was on the dry side when we tasted it so told the waitress. She said their "natural" lighting changed the color of the meat & if we went to the kitchen would see it actually was medium... More

I have eaten in 98 different counties and this restaurant is one of the top five for me. They just did some upgrades and we love the curb appeal for this venue. It is a white table clothe restaurant but everyone is pretty relaxed here. This is in the middle of the Wilderness Resort and is a very popular eating... More

We'd all made up our minds what each of us would be ordering for dinner. Until we saw the menu. So many yummy choices! Each of us strayed completely away from our plans for our meals. The service was wonderful as well. After dinner we sat in the bar next to the fireplace and continued our evening there for a... More

An upscale looking restaurant, especially for the Dells area. My wife and I shared a "Wilderness" mixed green salad and a filet with blue cheese and grapes. We also had pre-dinner drinks [try the American Mule (vodka, ginger beer, lime)] and a bottle of wine. Service was friendly and efficient. The only non-upscale feature was the fact that they assessed... More

We have been going to Field's for many years. When they first opened they were the premier restaurant in the Dells. The decor does need a little updating and the staff seems to clear the table too quickly giving you a rushed feeling instead of relaxing and enjoying your food. The desert menu needs a wider variety but the portions... More

Our steaks were gray and limp, not to mention flavorless. A little sear or char, or anything would have improved them.

While staying at Sundara we wanted to go out for a nice meal. My husband likes Prairie style architecture and we had heard they have good steaks so off we went. The interior was spot on and the staff was very courteous and more professional than one would expect in Wisconsin Dells. We both had spinach salads that were a... More

If you are in the Dells and want to have a "Quality" Dining experience........Fields is the place.....Not a place to go to with the kids for Hot Dogs.........But, if Chef Ramsey ate here , there's nothing he could do to improve..........Perfect !!!!!

The absolute best prime rib in the Wisconsin Dells area! Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get.

Celebrate the art of fine dining in Frank Lloyd Wright style. Field's at the Wilderness is truly the gem of the Midwest. The 36-foot ceilings, fireplaces, indoor water features and exposition kitchen should not be missed.
