Good value with plenty of food. The hash browns were the best we've ever had. Homemade cinnamon bread french toast was also good not overly sweet. Nice menu selection sure to find something you will like. The menu offers a lighter side menu with smaller portions for less money. A large amount of menu items came in a lighter side... More

We've been going to Hungry Peddler for probably around 40 years and, until today, have always been satisfied with everything about the meal.Today was very lousy! For starters we've always enjoyed the garlic toast they served but today it looked like it had been sitting around in the kitchen for weeks and it had virtually no flavor. We needed to... More

With a decor and menu of the supper club of days gone by, the Hungry Peddler is a great place to share the experience of this dining history. From the appetizers to desserts, the food and drinks are well prepared and delicious. Bottom line: Bring your friends and reminisce about "the good old days."

This place loved by locals. I was there about 3 times and didn't dig it that much. Not impressed with food. It's kind of a small place and it's very dark inside to my taste.... I would skip it.

Had a delicious breakfast here, pancakes were very tasty as were the hash browns. Coffee, GREAT, not too weak nor strong. The stars of American Pickers have been here probably when they are trying to purchase the antiques on the wall. They almost always come here when they are in town.

First time in a couple of us tried the French onion soup the waitress had recommended. It looked good but it was very bland. Absolutely no taste whatsoever. Brown water with melted cheese on top. That was followed up with the spaghetti and meat sauce which was equally bland. The sauce had no more flavor that the pasta. Our Other... More

Excellent food, prices and atmosphere. We had steaks which were great and I had all you can eat fish and chicken for $12.99. The baked cod was done perfectly and fried chicken crunchy good. Came with choice of 2 sides. Lots of salads and sandwiches on menu.

Great for any meal of the day. My favorite part is the awesome French Onion Soup! The only negative: The atmosphere is very dark and the antiques that line the wall reinforce that. They could stand to do a little updating.

Spent the weekend visiting family homesteads from the early 1900's. This place was a perfect stop for lunch. The old time decor and qwirky bar set the mood and we even envisioned our ancestors in the photos! The service was awesome, a rare and welcome thing these days. Our group of 4 was very pleased to have found this gem!... More

Stopped by for lunch and had an excellent meal. Enough portion that I took the leftovers home and it was enough for supper. Cooked perfect and the service was top notch. Easy on the wallet too.
