Pleasant young staff but mediocre food. "Fondue" ain't. The famous dinner rolls are poofy soft white-bread rolls...our whole table left them after breaking one apart, each taking a taste, and unanimously saying they are definitely not worth the carb calories. Very slow service even though not crowded late afternoon.

We had a group of 9 for a later dinner on a Thursday evening. Service was prompt, the were willing to make substitutions, the food was awesome, the downtown location had a cool vibe, staff was great. Only down side - my friend and I were sitting at the table, underneath what appeared to be a fan or AC unit... More

Who knew? We didn't even know what a cheese curd was. Just something you're supposed to eat when you're in Michigan. We were game. This place, as we walked by on a delightful August evening in La Crosse, just smelled heavenly. We walked on down the street, ducked into a shop and asked the clerk where she would eat. We... More

Waitress told us that they only had the lunch menu when it was still during breakfast. Heard many raves about the breakfast so I was very excited only to be let down by un carbonated soda and a mediocre caeser salad that I would have made better myself. May go back to try breakfast but don't even think about lunch.... More

Street parking for the downtown businesses, and it can be difficult to find a spot. They were really busy when we were seated around 10:30 this morning, but they informed us that they would get to us ASAP. We didn't have to wait long. The mimosa was well balanced. My husband's Gyro Omelette was refreshingly satisfying. The Traditional Breakfast was... More

Had the blueberry pancakes and bacon. Prepared perfectly. Blueberries only in the pancakes. Not a bunch of warm blueberry syrup poured on top. Really good coffee and wonderful staff.

GREAT food and bakery at VERY reasonable prices. We were happily surprised. I had soup and salad. It was French onion which was homemade and delicious. The salad was house with blue cheese = VERY good and GOOD sized. My husband had a homemade French dip on a GREAT roll. He ordered VERY good French fries that were included. We... More

We had a large group on a Saturday night at 6pm. Reservation was made earlier in the week. They seated and served us promptly. Food and drinks were very good. There were three large tables of us totaling 19 people. They brought out individual checks which made it easy to pay each family's amount. Staff was great, very friendly.

Fayze's has a terrific assortment of both breakfast and lunch dishes, which was lucky for our group of five that came in on a Sunday afternoon after 1 pm. The gyro omelette was delicious with fresh veggies served on top. Others in a group ordered the turkey BLT club, the buffalo chicken sandwich, and gyros. Make sure to order the... More

Fayze's is a local hangout featuring fresh baked goods along with unique breakfast combinations. It can get extremely busy and sometimes the wait is lengthy but the food is plentiful and tasty. It has an interesting wood decor and it can be noisy and difficult to carry on a conversation at times. Overall, a great bang for the buck.
