We stopped here on a very hot Saturday afternoon. It is an old fashioned drive in where the waitresses still wear roller skates and skirts and the tray is hung off your car window. The root beer floats were excellent. We also had a couple of root beer freezes (I think that's what they were called). My husband termed it... More

After a long day riding we stopped at Rudy's and seeing as it was dog month, our group of 9 did us really proud in consuming some really taste hot dogs and chili dogs to say nothing of the burgers. The establishment was really clean and well set up and seeing as it was extremely hot outside the inside A/C... More

The month of July special was hot dogs and chili dogs for under a dollar. The waitresses on roller skates was fun, hot dogs were good and draft root beer in a glass mug was refreshing!

Old time drive in with waitresses on roller skates. We sat at a picnic table and enjoyed the Sunday afternoon with two good pork tenderloins, cheese curds, and root beer floats. Very good.

Can't miss with the root beer coolers (or authentic frosted root beer mugs either). The walleye, burgers or fish sandwiches are my favorites but lots love the Walnutburger. Enjoy the skating waitstaff.

I'm a sucker for the nostalgia of a drive-in, so when driving through LaCrosse last month, I stopped at Rudy's for a late lunch: cheeseburger with fries and a medium root beer. This place has it all: the fun of ordering from and eating in your car, servers on roller-skates, trays hanging on your window, frosty glass mugs, and delicious,... More

Enjoyed our burger, corn dogs & fries. Also tried the jalapeño cheese curds (which I recommend). Service was great and the food was good. Also enjoyed "Old School" drive-in atmosphere.

When you think about the drive-in restaurant experience, there is a mixture of memories about childhood, the tray hanging from the window, the cool cars, the great summer food, and ice-cold root beer. Rudy's is all that and more. Car hops on roller skates, great food, clean, clean, clean, and friendly. It is obvious that the people who run Rudy's... More

All the great summer treats plus the sweet girls on roller skates delivery. Greatest root beer floats ever. Batter fried cheese curds rock. Chili dogs are the best! Don't go by, stop and have a treat.

What a happy little gem to find in an unfamiliar town! Hungry after a college visit, we ducked in whole driving through town. The drive-in, roller skates, service, and poodle skirts would have been enough. But the food was great and the root beer was amazing! Prices were very reasonable and our food arrived very fast. Will definitely eat here... More
