Classic American cuisine with a touch of granola lifestyle. Had the biscuits and gravy for breakfast and it was outstanding! Well priced, speedy and polite staff. Definitely a must visit.

Northside La Crosse locals know about it, and the word is spreading--but slowly, which means you can still get in there for some amazing meals with authentic Southern edges, a simple and friendly down-home service ice by really nice, warm people, very affordably prices, and...More
What a great experience! We had looked up breakfast spots in LaCrosse while heading through on a trip. Incredible menu filled with a large of southern inspired food, making it hard to pick just one item. We had the Southern Bowl (brisket, cheesy.grits, egg and...More
Stopped in here for breakfast on a lazy Saturday morning. Was surprised at how busy it was - but you can get a table if you're not in a large group. The service was friendly and efficient. Enjoyed our eggs but had to substitute the...More
This place has a chef who has gotten attention from the James Beard organization. Fabulous southern dishes done right: chicken and waffles, beignets, grits, cornbread, sweet potato hash browns, etc. Also some extremely well conceived grain bowls and delicious egg dishes. It’s the real deal...More
Stopped for breakfast on a late Saturday morning. Place was crazy busy with a 20 minute wait. Eclectic menu, but I was looking for a normal eggs and bacon breakfast. Menu substitutions are not welcome. I probably would not come back.
Service was attentive and quick. Brussels Bowl was excellent (white rice, black beans, sweet potato, fried Brussels sprouts), tahini lime viniagrette. Had option to order with added protein (e.g. shrimp, chicken, or seitan), but didn't need it and greatly enjoyed this dish. Coffee good, too.
Decided to lunch here on the way home from walking at Riverside Park. Place was very busy and they could use another server, but the wait for food was worth it. Curry bowl and chicken sandwich with a slice bowl of corn poblano soup.
Have been meaning to get there for a while and finally did today for breakfast. It was fantastic! Don't miss the table share of beignets. They are to die for. Other food was great too. We will definitely be back. Go early- it is smallish...More
We were in La crosse again this past weekend but could not get to an old standby in time so we looked up and found this place. We were not disappointed at all! Love the tacos and Lemon/powdered sugar pastry. The whole place just clicks...More
