We had a wonderful outdoor wedding with dinner reception here. Beautiful location, great food and staff. They honored all the details of our bride’s requests. They were easy to work with and at a reasonable cost. Separate entrance, parking, restrooms, deck and bar for the...wedding. Our priority was safety, every precaution possible was successfully taken for Covid safety. No one contracted Covid.More
The view was great, there was a nice bar area with outdoor seating, and the staff was friendly. We had a nice meal and a fun dance.
We sat on the deck and loved the view. We all liked our food which is rare. We had the sirloin, Philly sandwich, the turkey club and potato skins for an appetizer which were good sized and tasted great. The fans along the deck were...nice to feel with the hot sun. The only negative for us was that smoking is allowed at the deck tables and we didn't think to ask about that before we sat out there.More
Some old friends, my wife, and I visited East Bay Monday August 5th for an early dinner. We had a cheese curds appetizer with a side order of marinara. Outstanding! Getting really tired of greasy curds at other places. These were great. For dinner, two...of us had sirloin steaks. Two of us had salmon. All meals were cooked to perfection even though steaks were ordered to be done differently. I had ordered my steak with a side order of broiled shrimp. The shrimp were well seasoned and cooked to perfection, not over cooked like in so many restaurants. All dishes were ordered with bourbon glaze which I highly recommend. Service was prompt with a friendly waitress. Granted it was early on a Monday, but the entire dinning experience was outstanding!More
Had 9 people in our party. They were out of everything. And what they did have was So So . Fettuccine Alfredo my son and wife were seriously sick for 24 hours. Others in the party ordered cottage cheese and they were out they were...out of walleye finger out of steaks everything was bad. Went back a second time and they did have food but it wasn’t very good and our waitress had no clue to what was going on .More
We went to dinner, group of 7. We were told the soup was corn chowder. Two ordered soup and salad bar. Soup wasn’t there. Asked about it as it’s half the soup and salad meal! Was told it’s coming. It never came and we were...still charged for it. Ordered appetizers, no plates , no silverware, no waitress in sight. Waitress brought the food. One ordered chicken strips with bbq. She brought ranch.., never came back with bbq. Ordered desserts, brownie with ice cream. Pretty sure it was a little Debbie packaged brownie, ice cream was soup! Ordered mini donuts with ice cream, totally melted soggy. Must have sat in the kitchen. Waitress never checked back or asked how it was or if we needed anything. It was such a disappointment.More
We went on Saturday, July 6th for dinner. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. The problem was the bartenders. We sat out on the beautiful but warm deck for 45 minutes waiting for our drinks. The waitress kept apologizing for the long wait. I...looked around the deck and saw other tables with nothing on them. Finally I headed into the bar area to reorder our drinks. There were two bartenders. I noticed the younger one was working on our order. I painfully watched him make a simple martini (I could have made 10 in the time it took him to make one!) He took time to chat with his friends at the bar. I took the drinks myself to the table but had to make a second trip because of his lack of focus to get the job done! Our waitress brought our food to the table at the same time I returned with the drinks. Our food was very good and hot. Unfortunately, our first two choices were the Saturday night specials and they were out of both...it was 6:20 when we ordered! Our waitress gave each of us a free drink ticket for the long wait. I gave my ticket away...don't plan on going back anytime soon!!More
We visited twice during the 4th of July week. First time was just for apps- we ordered the spinach artichoke dip and were told it was just taken out of the freezer so it was still froze. Ok. We ordered the tator tots with cheese...and I can't believe whoever was cooking would even think it was ok to send something so awful out to a customer. There was one tiny clump of cheese- about the size of a dime. We also ordered the bruschetta and the bread wasn't toasted- it was basically a piece of bread with some tomatoes thrown on top. GROSS. We decided to go again for dinner on Friday night. There were 7 of us and only one of us had an edible meal. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo and honestly a five year old could've made a better dish than that. It was basically noodles with watered down Alfredo sauce. Absolutely no seasoning, salt, nothing. There was so much water in the Alfredo that it looked like soup. We go on the lake several times during the Summer and have been doing so since 1998. This place has gone through its up and downs, but the food has never been this horrible. We definitely will not be going back the rest of the Summer.More
We went to Eastbay for Sunday dinner. The special was chicken, so we ordered it. I ordered dark meat with mashed potatoes and gravy, my friend ordered white meat. The chicken was barely warm and tough to eat. The potatoes where just barely warm and...had beef gravy on them....what happened to the chicken gravy?? Only saw the waitress when she took our order and when she brought the bill. On the bill my friends order was $1 more because she had white meat. There was no where on the menu a statement saying that white meat was an extra $1. Not even close to what we expected.More
Very good soup, salad bar,and entree which was fish on my last visit. Good service, ambience great. Great view of the River.
My husband and I stopped in for lunch on Sunday while we were out hiking. The place is very cute and the staff was super friendly. Hubby ordered the Sunday special, baked chicken. It was so over done it was more like chicken jerky than...baked chicken. We were both surprised it was actually served as it looked as dry as it tasted. The staff offered to replace it with something else and took it off our bill as well as giving us both a free beer. I ordered and patti melt and it was delicious!!More
We were on our way home from Hayward and happened across this chance. We both had an amazing burger. The food and service was outstanding! The restuarant and ladies bathroom were very clean. We live about an hr and a half away from here and...we are already planning a trip back to the area just so we can eat here again.More
Came for dinner with my husband. We've been here numerous times and have always had inadequate service or subpar food and had hoped this would be better.... had a drink at the bar (good service here) then sat down and ordered dinner. The waitress took...our order, delivered our food..... and NEVER CAME BACK! I ordered a glass of wine with dinner and never got it. Twenty minutes later, Hubby had to ask the hostess for a take-out box for my dinner. We were told our waitress was "chit-chatting" and she was sorry. Too late! I WILL NEVER come back here to eat. Poor service EVERY time we've come.More
Server was clueless, even when writing down our order. Had to eat onion rings on paper napkins, due to server not giving us plates. The our main course came beef was chewy, chicken had no taste. My spouse ordered coleslaw. Server totally spaced that never...brought it to him. Then for the dessert we ordered mini donuts with ice cream, she brings us plain mini donuts. All night it was like this and we just want to get out!! I don’t think I would every go back.More
