This place has a lot of nostalgia with it and really good ice cream. I happened to walk around downtown Hartford and was glad I stopped in to have some ice cream here.

We find scoop de ville a cool place to stop with our grandchildren once in while when were in Hartford for a couple different kinds of ice creams! Fun stop and nice helpers!

The employees here were friendly and helpful, offering samples, but not being pushy. We normally like to just get a scoop or two and share, but there were so many good flavors of homemade ice cream to choose from. The toasted coconut had a good...crispness to the coconut, and mini chocolate chips, too. Their prices aren't too bad, either. Lots of room to sit and eat inside, which was welcome on this cool, rainy, fall evening!More

Excellent and friendly place with an old fashioned feel. The staff is very friendly and even though crowded at times, there is never a long wait.
Remember the old soda fountain where they made the best malts, floats, and ice cream sundaes? It still exists in Hartford, Wisconsin! They serve up all these sweet treats and more. You should stop in for lunch, but be sure to save room for dessert....The retro atmosphere is fun - they even have a jukebox stocked with oldies! Kids will enjoy the many old- fashioned candy choices, and everyone may be tempted to take birthday cake or cupcakes home too. Love their mini carrot cake cupcakes!More

The staff served our (rather large) family group quickly and pleasantly. Lots of flavor choices and good, home-made quality. Perfect feature for the quaint main street of this rural town.
My kids love this place. And I love this place because the prices are very reasonable. They have so many different kinds of old school candies that I get to introduce to my children in this era. Plus their décor is old school as well....I want their ceiling fans in my house.More
