We came here for Sunday lunch, the restaurant was buzzy and was full with a mixture of tourists and locals. We elected to have the 4 course degustation and a bottle of their premium zdar Chardonnay. Both were excellent options The service is friendly and competent. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Love the settings and the design of the place. Food were great and so was the service. The best oysters we had in this Tasmania trip. Definitely worth it if you are around launceston.

Last day in Tasmania. Restaurant fully booked for lunch. We had exceptional roast chicken, and lamb rump with French fries on the side. The Pinot noir and Chardonnay were perfectly blended and noteworthy at every level. Don't bother with other restaurants in the region. Just go to the best.

Surprise birthday lunch, beautiful setting overlooking rolling hills covered in vineyards, and lake. Fantastic food and of coarse wine, we appreciated the waitress's suggestions and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I will definately return to this wonderful restaurant. Thank you

We had lunch at this vineyard today and it was simply brilliant - we had the best oysters for starters followed by stuffed chicken and a fillet of blue eye trevella - all delicious - the meal was supplemented by a Josef Chromy Pinot Gris and a Pinot noir - exceptional food and wine and service - excellent value for... Chef Hat restaurant indeed. We would love to go back and try the other menu. I took a photo of our mains, but obviously I was "hangry" and the photo was cut. The Lamb Rump and Pork's cheek are a must! My husband loved the aioli too, tastes fresh. The dessert wine is a must for people who prefers sweet... More

This restaurant is situated in an idyllic rural setting with vineyards, a lake and beautifully manicured gardens surrounding the building. The staff were very friendly and quietly effiicient. The food was delicious and beautifully presented as was the wine. A exceptional restaurant to visit for a special occasion.

Went to this winery restaurant on our first full day in Tasmania and cannot speak highly enough of the experience with the food , wine and service. Returned on our last day to do the tour of the Winery and enjoy another lunch to take the memory with us. Food lived up to the first visit, winery tour was great... More
