I've been going here since I was a child. Have been to many places all over Milwaukee and suburbs for Friday Fish Fry, but somehow They never compare to Clifford's.

The fish. Oh the fish! Every time we come home to visit, we go to Clifford's. Still my favorite. The place we always took visitors growing up. Crispy, flakey, hot, never greasy fish and really tasty fries. Slaw and tartar sauce decent. Bread/rolls uninspiring but fine. We always go family style (decor is old, uninspired, with Christmas lights and school... More

The staff was very friendly and were able to accommodate our large group of 18. The family style fish fry included fried fish, french fries, coleslaw and dinner rolls. The fish was tender and flaky and lightly battered. It would be nice if they would also served baked fish family style. If you eat on the restaurant side you can... More

Busy, fresh, friendly, working class. Milwaukee at its best. A tradition if real food at real prices which probably will last forever.

Ate in the hall, was kinda like the basement of an old church. Self seating immediately, waiter was attentive with drinks, bread, and rolls. The family style all you can eat fried fish and french fries arrived shortly after. Fish and fries were ok, not great, It felt a bit overpriced for the food and experience. Not likely to go... More

Clifford's two dinning rooms offer different dinning experiences. One side offers an old supper club atmosphere and the other a family style experience. Both serve a tasty abundant fish fry. One of my favorites.

Had my first experience at this family-style Friday fish fry and was not disappointed. Very fresh cod with light batter, served fast and hot. I'm not much of a French fry person, so I can't say much about those, but the rest of the folks at the table seemed more than happy with them. Very friendly service and a good... More

What a great treasure to find here. An all around great experience was had by us at this great Supper Club. Had fish fry that was excellent and very hot and there was plenty of it. This is a definite must try for anyone that likes a good Friday Fish Fry and Supper Clubs.

My husband, son and I took my 97 year old grandmother out for Easter Brunch. I thought this would be a winning experience, because they have (in my opinion) the best fish fry out there. Boy, talk about a huge disappointment. I asked them if they had a senior discount. Nope. While they had a vast array of different food... More
