Unfortunately, there are not a lot of German restaurants in the Green Bay area. The Lorelei Inn has been around for a long time and they have a loyal clientele. On Friday and Saturday nights, expect a good hours wait for dinner without a reservation, and then you may still have to wait. The dining room is very small (some... More

Agree with other reviewers on several points. Limited offerings of german entrees. The sauerbraten was forgettable. Portions were small and prices were high. our visit to the bar area was the highlight of the evening - nice, cozy and had a relaxed feeling to it. good selection of german as well as craft beers. but unless the food side of... Recently visited again for dinner. Restaurant and bar are very clean. Great service at both the bar and the restaurant. Ordered german cuisines, wienerschnitzel for my wife and I had the sauerbraten. Both dinners were good, but not exceptional. Potato dumplings were fine, but the sauerbraten was a bit tougher than I am used to. I am used to being... More

Only a few German selections for main entrees. Sauerbraten was extremely disappointing. Very thin cut, almost a processed meat roll. Gravy waß really bland and showed no signs of gingersnaps. Red cabbage and potato salad was good. Steer clear for the German fare. The fish plates coming out looked good. Very busy place. Too bad Green Bay doesn't have a... More

I always like trying neighborhood places with the old world feel. It was certainly dated but that doesn't always reflect the quality of the food. I enjoyed the Guinness (tasted really good), Schnitzel was crispy-very good and the red cabbage was syrupy and sweet-also very good. The dumplings didn't work for me and the Black Forest Cake is, in my... More

Having spent a good amount of time in Europe I can say the food is way way way overpriced, and the clientele seems to be 60+. The menu hasn't changed in years as well as the quality, that is probably why the older customers keep coming back for something familiar, but switching up the menu from time to time would... More

Our first time here. Hubby and I decided on their version of the bacon cheeseburger with fried cheese curds- we are always in search of the tastiest non-chain restaurant burger and we have not found it- until the Lorelei! Great burger, good bun, real bacon and cheese. Curds were batter dipped and a good amount. Delicious- I think we have... More

I came here for October Fest and had a great time. This place served great German food and they had many craft beers on tap. The had a Polka band in the afternoon and great rock band in the evening. The rock band was "Big Mouth and the power tool horns" and they had place rockin' the whole night.

The Lorelei Inn is a really great place to hang out and enjoy your fave adult beverage, or two or three. Dave the bartender / owner is personable and welcoming. I have tried their German food a few times and every time it is quite underwhelming. Not a bad place though for a Friday fish fry. Enjoy the bar, it's... More
