It was okay I guess but being from Texas I can tell you its not really Tex Mex. the hot sauce has pepper in it (or something like it) but no cilantro! My chicken fajita meat was dry & burnt! I tasted the beef fajita meat & it had some disgusting flavoring on it. The queso was good. I won’t be going back here.

Food is still good but the service is declining. Long wait for your food after ordering, drinks going empty without refills. Our fajitas were brought out without any plates so I had to get them myself. Second visit in a row this type of thing has happened. They need to either get better wait staff or scale back the amount of guests at one time. It’s unfortunate.

Mmmmmexican!

Stopped today for lunch after visiting Cabelas. The chips are light and perfectly salty and the salsa is amazing and fresh. I usually get enchiladas when out bit went for the chicken taco salad. Wow, I am glad I did! Huge, packed with chicken, black beans and all the fixings. Could only eat half, which leaves me more for tomorrow. Perfect! Our waitress Sarai was very good, attentive, polite, on the ball and just plain nice! That is hard to find these days. The manager Dave stopped to make sure everything was good, which it was. Highly recommend you eat here.

Not even close to real Mexican

Not really anything mexican about this bland overpriced food. Ordered ground and shredded beef tacos and we got ground beef and shredded chicken. Not much meat in them and no flavor in either. Had several other items and they were not any better. Very disappointed, we used to like this place. Stale chips out of a bag, cold cheese dip, did not make tortillas.

Wow. I mean WOW. Lunch on a weekday. What we liked: 1. Hubby: "Everything." 2. Plenty of free parking. 3. Clean restrooms. 4. Huge menu choice. 5. Sierra is a competent, delightful server. 6. Margarita. I tour the country in my RV strictly to try the next margarita. M's did not disappoint. Pineapple! Prickly pear! And more. 7. The food. I can't say enough good things. I ordered puffy tacos, deep fried flour tortillas puffy and light and crispy, filled with slow cooked shredded pork and sour cream and a panoply of other good things. It was so good! Hubby loves his main dish too. 8. One of the two airy and inviting outdoor eating areas is behind a nearly invisible screen. All the delights of al fresco dining without the bugs. 9. Music is not too loud. 10. Reasonable prices. What we didn't like: Nothing. Would we return. Absolutely!

Came here last night and it was packed. So busy but we were seated right away. Our waitress took her time with us and answered our questions. We didn't feel rushed. She was johnny on the spot, wish I had grabbed her name. The food portions were huge and good, she kept drinks filled and didn't notice how busy it was. We need to come more often.

So bad

This used to be our favorite restaurant in Green Bay. It’s now at the bottom of the list. A few months ago the food was bad and the chips tasted burnt, but we thought the cook was just having a bad day. Today we tried again. The ceviche chimichanga was nowhere near as good as it used to be. The chips tasted burnt. Again. Our waiter brought another basket - same thing. Burnt. He said that’s just how they are now. A waiter in the back of the restaurant was talking and joking around so loudly with the other waiters that we couldn’t have a conversation with each other. We won’t be back.

Food Excellent/ Server Needs Training

Our food was delicious! Tacos, chimichanga, quesadillas, fajitas, grande Margarita cheese dip, salsa, chips, and grande guacamole were all exceptional! Our server needed to be coached every step of the way. She could not look at the table to see what needed to be done, unfortunately. We had asked for a spoon, which took a loooonnnggg time to get. We actually thought the manager came to our table to say the restaurant didn't have any. Lol Also, we asked to be seated in a location away from the bar. However, the hostess chose to seat us at a table within the bar. Our kids could not hear any of our conversation. . Every so often we give this restaurant a chance... when it works out, it is awesome.

Thank you for letting us know that you enjoyed our delicious homemade food. It's sad to hear that your service was not up to your standards, which we are constantly working with our new staff to make service like the old days, however it's very difficult employee market, which gives us no choice but to utilize undertrained especially on the 27th where we had 4 servers who choose not to work today. We feel bad for those servers who we have to utilize because it's not their fault - we are actually happy that they have elected to show up for work. We have been able to improve staffing over the past 30 days, so we hope to see you again, so we hope to be able to improve our our review - Kind Regards!

I don’t understand what the bad reviews are for. I ordered the tacos and thought they were great. My order was for carry out, and I’ve gotta say some salsa or mild sauce would go a long way! Surprised it wasn’t in the bag, and no one asked if I’d like any. Seemed a bit pricey for three tacos, beans and rice, but I guess it’s by the stadium so they have to high rent.

Good food, but with some details we didn't like

My husband and I chose this place for dinner. The first disappointment was the margarita, which was really soft. Also, I ordered a lemonade and it was not natural (here, I would expect to be told in advance), then, the plates were served exchanged, which we realised once we had eaten some. We were eating, and our waitress started cleaning the table besides ours, cleaning even the floor, at a "deep cleaning", which was uncomfortable. The food was good and the waitress was friendly. I'm not sure I would go back.

Terrible!

Worst dinner experience ever! Definitely not worth your time. The inappropriate extremely loud music coming from the kitxhen was disturbing. Hostess was rude and impatient with the disabled and elderly. They seated half our party in a walkway but got upset we were in the walkway.

Delicious!

This was our first time at Margaritas and I wish I lived closer because it would easily become our go to place! The puffy tacos were so good! I don't know why every Mexican restaurant doesn't serve them. The margaritas were also delicious. It was pretty busy but our server didn't seem rushed at all. She was very friendly and did her job very well. Anytime I'm in Green Bay I will be heading to Margaritas!

Definitely worth a visit !

I am a huge fan of Mexican food and love all styles. I'm in Green Bay and my expectations are not real high. Margaritas had good reviews so I figured it was worth a shot. The restaurant was packed. My waitress was awesome and very attentive. The Margaritas were very good and the food was outstanding. I would definitely visit again.

Unexpected Mexican Fiesta

Visited without a reservation and were seated immediately- not likely to happen in high season. Near the Stadium- within walking distance. Nice decor and good vibe. Ordered $6 Margaritas (large size). They were very good and not watered down. I had the enchiladas and my wife the tacos- both were fresh, well put together, and generous portions. Some of the best Mexican food we have eaten outside of Mexico. Highly recommend.

Busy!

A friend of mine recommended Margarita's. But when my sister & I got there, it was packed with a wait time of 40 mins. We went somewhere else that night but went again the next night at an earlier time. We got right in but it gradually got busy till all tables were occupied!! Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I got hard shell tacos with rice & beans, my sister got a quesadilla- everything was very good. I would recommend this restaurant.
