Was searching for a café-style restaurant to try near downtown and chose Kavarna. Loved the atmosphere, food and drink. Went with my son the first time, then took my daughters a few months later and they were very impressed. Glad to have found a parking lot behind the building as parking on Broadway Street is sometimes difficult to find.

I've read other reviews and heard many locals say Kavarna was a great coffee shop. To me, a great coffee shop is one with great coffee. Forget the eco-friendly, trendy gluten-free, apple-pay, modern-industrial-meets-rustic-and-old-Anthropologie-design. Ask yourself if the overpriced cup of joe in your hand is worth it? To me, Kavarna coffee is not. I have tried several times over the... More

To start out this cafe has a great aesthetic the building is one of a kind and the cafe works well as is fairly spacious. They offer gluten free or vegan food and dessert options that can be great at times or not so fresh at other times. My main reason for going is the coffee, and every time I... More

The drinks here were so good that I had to come back. I'd recommend the smoothies. I hear the espresso is also very good. I would recommend this place.

Great selection of tasty breakfast and bakery items. They offered a great selection of vegan and healthy treats as well. Would definitely come back!

My fiancé and I visited Kavarna for the first time this past weekend. We both loved the atmosphere. The exposed brick walls looked very nice. My espresso shake was delicious! Place had a nice vibe, we'll definitely return if in the area again.

It seems to be a bit of a hang for folks. saw lots of people hanging out with their laptops. The sandwiches and coffee we had there were fine. They also do serve breakfast. It's not a place for fine dining. It is a nice place to go for coffee and sandwiches.

To the clueless, teenage, hipster who argued with me insisting the brown & slimy greens were not spoiled but should be eaten. ..please read excerpt below and educate yourself! Despite your belief that the slime was due to "humidity" ....it's called spoilage Food Safety Lettuce that is unsafe to eat shows definite signs. Bacteria can begin to reproduce on bruised... More

I think the best thing about this place is the space itself, followed by the staff. Then, I'd place the beverages, like the chocolate elixir or Mexican hot chocolate. I'd put the food at the bottom. It's not bad, it's just not great. It's not the reason I go back. I go back to sit and chat with friends and... More

This is a very friendly, relaxing place to meet up with friends or family. The food was exceptionally good. Served hot and fresh. I had the Southwest wrap and it was the best I have ever eaten. They even have a nice, safe place for kids to play while the adults visited and relaxed. It is very different from other... More

Kavarna Coffeehouse is a cafe in Green Bay's Broadway District. We offer a mix of sandwiches, pitas, wraps and salads--using many local ingredients when the seasons cooperate. We have an espresso bar, a full time baker, and a lot of space to get things done--the New York Times called us, "cavernous," in their feature on 36 Hours in Green Bay.
