Our server Emalie was wonderful! We had lots of questions and she answered all of them with a smile. The salsa was flavorful with our chips. We got the mango pizza with ham. This was huge and even though we should have split it (Emalie...warned us it was big), we also ordered the southwest burger with sweet potato fries and coleslaw. All delicious!!! The pizza toppings were flavorful, but the crust was a little bland. I warn only because if you eat an oily greasy seasoned crust...and like it...this is not it. We would definitely go back and try more off the menu!!! Great find!!!More

If you want good food and a little ambiance this is the place to go. The food has always been great! My personal favorite for lunch is their tuna wrap and the sweet potato fries are delicious! As for the ambiance, the interior is warm...and inviting and has the old booths and table tops from Kaap's Bakery that used to be on Washinton St., downtown Green Bay.More

Went there because it was close to the place we were going to paint so thought we would try it. Never been there before but let me tell you I will be back! I had their lake perch and it was the 2nd best perch...I have ever had, it beat the place I like now. And it was $13.95 and included marble rye bread coleslaw and choice of potatoe. I went with my family and everyone enjoyed their meals. The steak sandwich is real steak. The sweet potato fries are amazing! Everything on the menu sounded good and I want to try some of their sandwiches also. Very reasonable prices. Great food! I’ll return 😊More

I travel to Green Bay weekly, and at least several times a year, I make it a point to stop at Village Grille. I've been there both for breakfast, and lunch, and have enjoyed the food each time. The menu is HUGE, which is nice-...lots of options are good ! - I have had their tuna (or was it salmon?) steak sandwich (that may not be the exact correct name) & LOVED it !!! I thought the service was fine, and the atmosphere is good as well as the comfort level.More

We had eaten here a few times for dinner and it was always good and then someone told us to try to the brunch buffet. The buffet was the best thing ever and it included special prices on bloody marys and mimosas. There is so...much food to choose from and at a price that can not be beat for a brunch buffet.More

The service was amazing. I sat at the bar and the lady serving me was most generous. Samples of drinks I might like and she even compt my coffee at the end. The food, well the hollandaise sauce was amazing but the eggs on the...eggs Benedict were hard hard. I had to send my crispy hash browns back as well for not being crispy. The service was amazing. I will go back to see if they correct the food because of the service.More

We are new to town and have had lunch here and a Friday night fish fry. The food and service was excellent both times. Sweet potato fries is what I would get with any sandwich at lunch. The perch have a special batter that is...really good and my wife thought the cod was excellent plus got a salad with it. The decor is really cool and that's why you got to go inside to see and experience. On Friday night with allot of people the high ceiling really helps on noise. Moscow mule was very good. Only bottle beer and I wish they had more local beers. Julie took care of us on Friday night and did a very good job. Followed up and gave good recommendations.More

This is the 3rd or 4th time i've been there and each time the service is verrry slow. I noticed that although they weren't busy 3 out of the 4 recent times I was there, the wait staff were busy talking behind what I call..."the wall" behind the bar. They were not watching to see if any new customers came in or if the existing ones needed anything. This morning I walked in, saw the "Please Seat Yourself" sign and noticed there were only two other occupied tables - one semi-large group and a table of two men. I sat there for at least three full minutes before someone came out from behind "the wall" to give me a menu and take my drink order. Meanwhile, another couple who came in a couple of minutes after I did were waited on before me. I can't say the service was "bad" per se, but lackadaisical at best. When it came time to pay my check, the waitress brought it promptly but then I sat there several minutes (had put my jacket on, preparing to leave) waiting for the waitress to come back to give e change. Again, they were NOT BUSY. Once she took the check and money I assumed she would be right back - wrong! I stood up, thinking she would be coming to my table momentarily. Another two minutes or so went by before she casually strolled back with my change. Her tip reflected my displeasure. No apology from her for any of the waiting. I don't know whose "fault" this is, but like I said in the beginning, this is not the first time we've had slow service. The food is good to very good, and that is why I keep giving it another try. If not for the slow service, I would go out on a limb and say it's the best breakfast place in town, and their Sunday brunch is great, too. But with all the choices of eating establishments in Green Bay to spend my disposable/discretionary income, I will think twice before going back there. Maybe they serve their "regulars" more promptly?More
