We went on Friday for fish fry. The event was outside with a big crowd with carnival type games and a polka band. Lots of fun. The food was very good and plenty in each meal. The kids hasd lots of fun and we had...good fish fry.More
We have driven by this restaurant several times over the years. The last time it was 2019 during oktoberfest. The parking lot was packed so we decided to try it the next time we visited. We stopped for lunch today and had no problem getting...a seat. The pandemic has wrecked havoc on restaurants. The restaurant has an abundance of seating and can accommodate large groups easily. They also have carryout.
The food portions are large and thought the food was just ok. Was disappointed that a German restaurant doesn't offer mashed potatoes. Our choices were spatzel or French fries. The spatzel had no flavor. The Wienerschnitzel had a weird taste, think it might have been the gravy. The potato pierogi's were served with sour cream and chives, but didn't have much flavor. We tried the dessert sampler plate that had Apple Struedle, Black Forest Torte, and Bavarian Pretzel bread pudding type dish. These were all good. Sunday's are 1/2 off meal only, for those over 55. Our server was friendly and practiced social distancing. Unsure of we'll try it again but by the usual full parking lot, perhaps we tried the wrong dishes. Definately worth a try.More
Been here a few times and always pleased. Excellent atmosphere in the beer hall, wonderful outdoor patio too. Enjoyed the fish fry, also the knockouts, bratwurst, and German potato salad. Very authentic!
Most tables are long bench seating, hey do have some more individual booths. But, the atmosphere is fun, there is live music a lot, dancing, and the food is really good. Our friend from Bavaria loved the food.
The Beer Garden is open for the summer after our long virus ordeal. Spacing is great if you're worried about it. We went for Friday Night Fish Fry - it was better than ever! Must have been the fresh air! Maiboch beer was terrific as...usual as are all the many varieties made on site. Wonderful buttonbox entertainment on Fridays. We were so happy to get out of the house in a great location with super food and beer. Life can return to normal.More
Made a reservation from their app, which they use Yelp. Arrive and there is no one at the desk and a sign that reads: seat yourself.
Find a table and they were way under staffed. Sat for 10 minutes then had to track a waiter...down. He was very friendly and apologized....clearly he needed more people on staff.
The food and Bier were very good. Maybe just some management issues.More
This place was all I had hoped for. It is a traditional style Bavarian Bierhaus. It is huge and very German. We came to the Krampusnacht and it was great! The main hall is huge with exposed beams, a stage for music, bar, and bier...hall tables. So if you can't sit with strangers do not go here. There is a small pub area off to the right with small private tables. The service is like in Germany a little slow but that is because of the size of the place and the seat yourself. Just be a little patient it's worth the wait. I had the sauerbraten and it was so tender, tangy and the best I have had out of Germany. The bier and wine and cocktails were so good. It is a great place to go for a night out Bavarian style. In the summer they have a mini Oktoberfest with their own onsite grounds it looks like it could be great, I am going to check it out.More
the restuarant is charming in the German style but the food is only so so . It tastes like the food was on an assembly line and not fresh at all. I guess when your serving that many people its hard to keep if fresh...but I don't think I'd come back hereMore
Reservations made a week ago & confirmed on day for 16. When we arrived was told not on the books, but since the restaurant was practically empty, told we could sit anywhere. The waitstaff is no longer dressed in traditional German attire, & most were...in the torn jeans style of today. After 40 minutes of waiting, complained at the front desk. Hostess came, with no apology to take our orders. Food came in acceptable time, but it was so-so. When it was time to leave, we again had to wait forever for the waitress to process our payments. What should have been an enjoyable dinner in about 2 hours, took at least 3. We'll never go there again!More

Hallo! Yes there is a dance floor in front of the band. Tables are available outside in several areas and those that are not reserved are free to be used by anyone else. There are no seats at the bar but there is an additional covered bar building with seating. No need to wear Bavarian clothing, pretty much anything goes - but it can get cool at night. Many bands have CDs but it is not a given. There is a small shop that sells German items so you may be able to find something there if not offered by the bands. There is a carnival area area with games and there are swing sets for children. It's a blast we have been going for decades!
