Solid Wisconsin culture in a heritage home nestled on an oak ridged ravine serving white fish and potatoes cooked in human-sized cauldrons. Skinless and boneless makes for easy eating.

Due to a hip infection I was not going to get to Door County this year for a fish boil so I decided to shop a little closer to home. It took about an hour and a half to get there but it sure beat the four hour drive to Door County. My 12 year old granddaughter went with me.... More

My husband took me to this little gem when we first started dating over 10 years ago. He also took me to Door County around the same time. Let me tell you, the fish boils were completely different and I'll take Fitzgerald's any day of the week. There were no bones, the fish was delicious and I could get as... More

I have been going here for a little over 15 years. It's cash only. They have an ATM. The food is three things they do phenomenally well: cod fish boil, bbq chicken and ribs. You can get just the fish boil, the chicken and fish boil or final option all three. I like them all, but my true favorite is... More

Being used to fish fries, it's been a while since I've been to a fish boil. Even my fish hating wife liked the cod, and the BBQ chicken and ribs were good too, but the fish is the star here. Cash only, with an ATM right inside, you pay up front and get a ticket for your dinner choices, chicken... More

Octagon house is lovely from the outside but the inside needs a total update and revamp of furnshings. It is a poor man's buffet with entrée choices of fish, fish with chicken or fish chicken and ribs. If you must eat here just get the fish. The sauce on the meat is too sweet and there are no other choices.... More

We heard about Fitzgearlds by word of mouth a few years ago now that its a must stop if we are anywhere near! The fish boil is just excellent and tender with great taste, the BBQ chicken and ribs are also great if you have a big appetite. The sides from the onions and butter, or creamy cole slaw, and... I can't believe that this restaurant has been here for many years and I had never heard of it. A friend suggested that we go to this restaurant for a girl's get together. I am a person that likes fish and have eaten at a couple fish boils in Door County. This outdoor cooking process, taste and presentation of the... More

Fitzgerald's uses only cod so there's never the search for bones in the fish. Add chicken and/or ribs if you so choose. The best rye bread accompanies your choices. Coleslaw, boiled potatoes and onions + the best rye bread.........it's all you can eat........except dessert and that doesn't matter since you'll be full anyway! Cozy in the winter or fun under...
