—I and a friend stopped in for an early dinner on Monday evening around 5:30. The place wasn’t too busy. We were seated in one of the booths with wooden seat backs that nearly touched the ceiling. This was great for privacy and “social distancing.” The table was full of a sticky food residue that I had to wash off with napkin and a water. The bathroom was very old and grubby. —Our waitress was a nice young lady who had just started working that very day. She extended herself to try to answer our questions and was very accommodating. —We started by ordering beer and wine. It was happy hour until 6:00, so drink prices were reduced. We then ordered cheese curds that came with marinara and ranch sauces. We really enjoyed these. —Finally we ordered our main entrees. My friend got a burger and fries that she was satisfied with. I ordered grilled wild salmon that came with a cup of soup, colcannon potatoes, and grilled veggies. I enjoyed the food but thought the salmon was dry and lacked flavor. —I got a chocolate lava cake for dessert “to go.” It was acceptable. —When we got our checks, we noticed that at the bottom it stated that there was a 2.5% discount for paying with cash. So my friend paid with cash. But they didn’t give her the discount. They said she had to ask for it ahead of time, which was TOTAL lunacy. It seemed a whole lot like false advertising. She then asked for the discount to be applied, and they obliged. Although the discount for our two meals was about $1.50, we wanted that discount and could add it directly to the tip.

Went early on a Saturday for lunch. Nice variety on the menu and they DC o offer several soup choices. We had the Shepherds Pie (its beef not lamb so technically Cottage Pie) which was very good and served smoking hot and a plentiful serving. Also got the "Award Winning Chili" and Warm Pretzel Appetizer. The pretzel was tremendous and came with spicy mustard and a beer cheese sauce. The chili was, let's say, different. It's quite spicy and has a definite beer flavor to it. If that's your thing you will enjoy it. I would not get that again. But lots of interesting things to try so will definitely return

We have been here a couple times and I can’t figure out what I think of it. We tried it again to see if we were better impressed and once again we left with mixed feelings. First I should mention they add 3% to bills paid by credit card. There is an 8.5 x 11 piece of paper with small print telling you that in the reception area but we didn’t see it until on our way out. They claim their chili is great, and it was nice. No accolades. Lamb stew had little lamb but most of the pieces were largely fat. Not nice. More juice than either veg or meat. One companion’s shepherd’s pie was way heavy on spuds and sauce tasted oddly of spices. Other companion had a wrap and it was rated just OK. The saving grace was bread pudding which was nicely moist, tasted of egg custard as it should and while there was a Jameson caramel sauce it was not excessively boozed — just about perfect. Not really sure if we’ll try them again.

Easy parking, good atmosphere and a great service experience. We started (after beers) with the Irish poutine. A nice (and huge) appetizer which could easily become great with fresh curds and a litlle more gravy. The beef stew was good, as was the Guiness mac and cheese, which could be elevated with better cheese.

My husband and I have been frequenting Mulligans restaurant for years. Since we missed going out on St. Patrick’s Day, we decided to visit Mulligans tonight for my favorite Corned Beef dinner. However, I was pretty disappointed with tonight’s experience. I ordered the Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner and when the Server set it down in front of me and I picked up my fork to eat, I noticed a long black hair on the food. I notified the Server and she took the plate into the kitchen and replaced it with a new dinner. In the end, I was charged $19.95 for a Corned Beef dinner that was listed in the menu as $18.95…and I did not receive the horseradish sauce that was supposed to be served on the side with this dinner. It wasn’t even busy in the restaurant, so you can’t blame it on being too busy to provide good service!

We had the most wonderful experience at this restaurant in what seemed the middle of nowhere! We had just shopped at a major furniture store nearby, and their restaurant is closed temporarily, so we had to look for fortification elsewhere. This place was awesome, especially since we must have picked a really good time to visit. It was nice and quiet, and they had all kinds of Happy Hour Specials. The beer selection was impressive, the appetizers were 50% off, and hubby and I shared an appetizer (!!) and had to take some of it home since the portion was sooo generous. Our server, Erin, was super friendly and knowledgeable. I stared at her in admiration since she had memorized their extensive beer list! We live almost 2 hours away from Mulligans and can't wait to go back!

The food was very good. The appetizers were delicious and the specialty drinks were also very good. The shepherd’s pie was also very tasty, although I wish it had a little bit of crust. I don’t normally think of Irish food being very flavorful, but this was fantastic.

Service was fine. Ordered Shepard's Pie. It was mashed potatoes on a plate with 1-2 tablespoons of ground meat mixed in. Only a few carrots and peas. It should have a distinct meat and vegetable layer with mashed potatoes on top. Other in group had lamb stew. Although flavor was good, at best there was 1/4 cup of meat. Both dishes were not worth the price paid.

My husband and I went for dinner on a Saturday night. The food was not good. My husband’s hamburger was undercooked and was not good. I had the steak sandwich and a cup of chicken soup. The soup had so much celery you couldn’t get any broth. It was not good. My steak sandwich was ordered medium rare and came rare. Way undercooked. There was no garnish on the plate and you aren’t offered onions, cheese or? It was $16.99 and not worth it.

We went there for my birthday dinner, we were given a booth by the hostess. We sat there for 15 to 20 minutes while the wait staff walked by and did not acknowledge us. We decided that we were not welcome so we decided to leave. As we were leaving the same hostess told us to have a great night. I replied that since we didn’t get any service we did not. I am pretty sure we will never go back there.

When I saw a highly rated Irish pub, I automatically wanted to give it a try. I was surprised with the variety of beers and food selection they offer. Give their mussels a try. You won't be disappointed. While they spend more time tending their regulars and other locals, the bartender and servers are friendly and attentive.

Just had a brilliant week in playa de ingles and the best nights out was at mulligans making us feel very welcome, all the waiters especially Janine and Alex every time we visited. Great live music especially the band the misfits and the food was lovely couldn’t fault it. Would highly recommend there. Tracy & Carl

We came out on Father’s Day because my husband wanted a burger. He wanted to try a new place. I did some research and found Mulligans. We looked at the menu online and it seemed there was something for everyone. We were seated right away and the staff all seemed friendly. Our server came over immediately and took drink orders. We could not decide so we actually tried quite a few things to eat. None of them were disappointing. The food was served hot and promptly. Service was excellent. 5 stars! We enjoyed our lunch immensely and will return.

We've frequented this restaurant for over 20 years. It's a nice place and we've always had good food and good service (even on Friday nights). Our favorite is the Jamieson Whiskey glazed salmon and the Reuben soup! WINNERS.
