Great course for new golfers to practice, and for experienced golfers to work on their skills. Try Foot Golf here! Large groups can be accommodated. The best place to watch a game with the largest televisions in Door County. Just a mile off Highway 42 is Egg Harbor’s best kept dining secret. Enjoy a delicious meal in the pub or on the patio overlooking the 9th Green. No need to be a golfer to enjoy the fun and relaxing atmosphere. We had a group of 12 folks eating dinner before going to a theater production. The food was great, and served in a timely manner. We ate outside under their wonderful new, large umbrellas, and it was beautiful.

My girlfriend and I stopped here on our weekend trip. We wanted a place to watch the Packer game and get some food. They did not disappoint. The perch fry was one of the best I have ever had. The atmosphere and service were top notch. I know if we are ever in Door County again we will DEFINITELY be stopping again. Thank you for a great start to a Fantastic weekend.

When there with my 12yr old, rented clubs, played a twosome, had an excellent time. Lunch afterward was fantastic - especially the cherry BBQ burger.

If no stars is an option, I would have chosen that. The owner, specifically, was disrespectful. We went in for a breakfast that took over an hour to receive. We have been going to Stonehedge for years and now will never go again. I will use my influence in the community to prevent others from having the same experience. I thought the new ownership would be a positive thing for Door County… turns out that I was wrong.

Thank you for the review and completely understand your point of view on the unfortunate situation. Here is some context for anyone that reads this review…
We opened our restaurant for the Packers London Game at 8am – Sunday October 9th and had a line of customers waiting to get into our dining room because we were the only place open early with TVs and serving food in Egg Harbor. The dining room was full within 15 minutes. People then asked if they could sit on the patio where we had one TV. I told everyone that wanted to sit on the patio that we did not have a server out there and that service would be limited and it would take at least an hour for food. Since there was nowhere else to go in Egg Harbor the patio filled up immediately. I then convinced my wife, a network TV executive not a server, to work the patio. I again explained once more that it would be over an hour for food. Everyone on the patio was having a fantastic time watching the Packers game. People were drinking Bloody Marys, Screwdrivers, and Mimosas, kids were playing football and footgolf, and people were chanting and cheering my wife’s name in support. We ended up having to turn a lot of people away because we didn’t have any seats, but there were two seats still on the patio. The person writing this review came in and sat themselves without checking in and as a result, did not receive any of my warnings about service. We were doing the best we could with the amount of people sitting inside and outside and the limited staff in the kitchen. Then we had a technical issue which caused a few orders to not print in the kitchen. I came outside and made an announcement to the entire patio about the issue in the kitchen. Everyone was understanding except one person. It was at this time the person who wrote this review got very upset. I tried to explain the situation, again, and also defended my wife, but it was too late. I apologized for not taking our conversation aside in the moment, and did not charge them for their breakfast and coffee. The other person in their party came inside later, and again, my wife and I apologized for the situation. I am disappointed it came to this but there was not one other person out of the over 100 people in attendance that had a complaint that morning. People were complimenting how well we handled the large crowd, how grateful they were that we decided to open, and how much fun they had, despite the Packers losing in London.

We were delighted with this place! It’s very close to where we live, but we had never visited. We’d heard it had new owners and decided to check it out. We did not golf, just visited the bar/restaurant. It’s very well-maintained and attractive, and the bar/restaurant area is clean and nicely furnished - the huge TVs will be great for Packers! There is also a spacious and comfortable patio. The full bar offers a nicely curated collection of tap beers, canned/bottled beer, wine, and top-shelf liquors. The casual-dining menu features a very good variety of sandwiches, salads, and appetizers, plus a couple of dessert items. We each had a different chicken sandwich, and they were fresh, tasty, and well-prepared, with a good selection of sides. The staff, including the owner, was attentive and friendly. We’ll definitely go back, and bring friends!

Our group of eight were up for a fish fry on the first night of our week long stay in Door County. Based on previous reviews we opted to try this establishment. When we entered we could see they were in the midst of a busy night and there were only two women waiting tables and managing the bar. But here is something I have never experienced anywhere....we didn't even get acknowledged or spoken to as we stood at the entry to the bar/restaurant for the 25 minutes we were there. Our patience was gone and heads were shaking as we left for another restaurant where we also waited to get seated 20 minutes but were immediately greeted and had a place to sit and enjoy a drink. I hope management takes note of this TA review as we will never be back to tell them.

This is located on the golf course. Friday nights they have a delicious all you can eat battered cod dinner that includes potato and slaw for just over ten bucks. Only drawback is there is usually only 1 or 2 waitresses on so service is a bit slow.

Trip Advisor: please create a separate listing for Stonehedge GOLF so that folks looking for an easy little golf course (two par 3's + seven par 4's) at an affordable price ($18 with cart for as many holes as you want to play) will find this gem.
On a sunny Tuesday in mid October, we found a sign on the pro shop saying "Honor system today. Slide your money through the door." Lacking proper change, I slid in $40 for the two of us.
The course was in amazingly good shape! Some slightly hilly holes, but no deep roughs and no hungry waterholes My ball did hone in on sand traps twice. And one or two greens were impossibly domed. The blazing red sumacs and glowing yellow and orange maples made it a gorgeous outing.
As we left the course, a big fella came up and handed me four bucks. "Your change".
I forgot to ask him about the sign that says "Foot Golf" so some other reviewer will have to report on that. I hope it's something we can bring our grandchildren to do next summer.

The proprietor is really nasty. I was going to put a small bag of trash in his dumpster and then we were going to go into dinner and he started screaming at me (I'm a 61 year old woman!) and said he'd report me to the police if I used his dumpster. We didn't buy dinner there with that attitude!

Off the beaten path, so you wouldn't find it if you weren't looking for it. Read a review here on Tripadvisor to find the place. We all had the perch dinner. NO German potato salad as was in a review I read, but they did offer either American potato salad or fries for your side. A Nice quick meal before the Peninsula Players theater.

Didn't eat, but kind of wish I would have. Golf course is glorified par 3 / short par 4 course. The greens are small, which is good cause course is very short. Perfect to hone in your short game under 200yds. $10 all you can golf walking $18 riding. No tee times so show up, play & play again. How can you go wrong. Course was in great shape. I wouldn't play here if your looking for a challenging golf experience, but great value for 1st timers or if you want unlimited golf not to break the bank. A must return for me for the value reason.

All you can eat Cod for $10.00 can't go wrong. It was very good and hot! We arrived about 5:00 and were the first ones there. it started to get busy shortly after that.
