Almost passed by because it looked totally different. Found out the reason why was a fire a few years ago. Wonderful new digs and since we only wanted a light lunch to save room for dinner, we opted for cups of chili and Pete"s Beans....Great combination with the small pretzel roll. The beans brought back memories of our visit a number of years ago.More

We were seated upstairs. When we arrived we were the first ones to be seated there. Upon leaving there were a few more tables but the place was not super busy. This is important for later in the review. The waitress was super friendly. We...decided since they weren't busy we'd stay a while and enjoy the view. We ordered a few appetizers and drinks. I asked to keep the drink and food menu as we'd get more later. The waitress just paused and looked confused. She asked if she could take at least one menu back. Ok? No big deal, my friend and I will share when it comes to ordering our meal. We ordered some drinks, that were affordable and tasty. Ordered some cheese curds and the soft pretzels. The cheese curds were greatly slacking in flavor and quantity. But the soft pretzel was amazing. So good my friend ordered another. I left to go use the restroom. I came back to find out the waitress and taken those menus back. Apparently, she was pretty concerned about getting those back. So that ended that. No more drinks and no meal. We had just the one drink and appetizers. Feeling rushed out wasn't comforting. I'd understand if they were busy. We went to another local establishment for dinner. Note: Menus were paper menus with the impression they are single-use. They are not single-use menus.More

WARNING: EXTREMELY RUDE MANAGEMENT- CALLED MY HUSBAND A "MISERABLE F_CK". We've been here before; usually a good experience. However, this time everything seemed off. The one mixed drink my husband ordered was so bad that even I thought something was wrong with it. The food...was mediocre at best, and the seafood chowder was just...not good. After I had ALREADY PAID the entire bill and left an over 20% tip, my husband attempted to inform the manager of the situation with the food and drink as we were leaving just to let him know (as most managers want to have feedback from their customers- especially repeat customers like us), and the manager told him to his face (and I could hear it from where I was sitting in shocked silence) that he cannot help that my husband is "a miserable f_ck" and to "pay the f_cking bill and leave" (even though I had already paid). He said this at the front desk IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS. I will never EVER visit this terrible, hateful establishment again and I will let everyone I know that this establishment treated this gay couple this way. UNACCEPTABLE!! I expect no less than a full written apology from the Owner and the release of any staff that cannot treat their customers with respect. My husband posted a review similar to mine on Facebook and the same hateful manager replied and said that none of this ever happened. MY OPINION: AVOID.More

The food was unremarkable, but the decor is nice, there is plenty of room upstairs and downstairs. Good place for groups. I think if they stayed away from packaged and instant food mixes (instant mashed potatoes, packaged gravy, dry buns), they could have a great...establishment.More

Really unique fish fry, can choose the type of fish and way you want it prepared. Only downside was that they didn't have wild caught Pacific Salmon. Got the Atlantic Salmon with cherry chutney and hubs got Mahi Mahi with Asian spices. This one might...be added to our yearly rotation.More

Five people dining in. We arrived around 5pm. Tables were generously spaced out on the main floor and so far it wasn’t busy. Amanda was our server. Very friendly and helpful. Menu highlights: meatloaf dinner- great flavor and more than enough for two teens to...share. Seafood chowder- wonderful fish and savory broth (would have preferred it without the mushrooms but they didn’t detract from it); bowl was enough for a meal! Bottled cream sodas- natural ingredients and great tasting. Berry cherry cobbler (?) a la mode- delightful flavors in the combination of fruits. Split three ways and it was perfect. Everyone in our family had enough to eat without breaking the bank. Prices were very reasonable. Tip of the hat to Amanda: from what we could tell she was running the entire floor and bar by herself (by the time we left there were easily 8-9 other tables occupied). And we never felt neglected.More

Carry out on Halloween. Definitely above 25% occupancy inside. My husband's BBQ pork sandwich and mac and cheese side were delicious! My pork tacos were literally unseasoned meat on burned tortillas with a single strip of cilantro (I really should have taken a picture) and...3 slices of jalapeno. Seems like it was a new menu item?More

Shipwrecked has been totally rebuilt since our last visit including adding a micro-brewery. Although the inside looked very nice, we chose to eat outside do to COVID. They have an enclosed tent which makes it comfortable in breezy fall weather. Recommend the Popeye artichoke sandwich...and the Captain Copper brew. They offer sample flights of their beers.More

Lots of restaurants won’t post some or al menu pricing online. It’s just a thing. Usually there’s a beer/wine/adult beverage menu that is given to you at the table that has them. Last time I was there and had a beer (this... More
