Best Italian sandwich I've ever tasted 😋 Fresh on site baked bread. On point pricing. First visit. Hope we can be back next year!

Stopped here for lunch on the way to a show. The sandwiches are awesome and prepared fresh to order. I would have loved to sample more of their delicious baked goods but didn't have time. I'll definitely stop in again soon.

My husband and I stopped by for a late lunch and we decided to stop here for a sandwich to split. We decided on the egg salad which is served on their homemade bread (chewy crust and soft inside)... just delicious! The egg salad was...creamy and so tasty, I wish I knew what they put in it because I'd replicate it in a heartbeat!! The staff was very nice and I'd highly recommend lunching here!More

Looking for something other than pizza, burgers or fine dining. This sandwich shop fit the bill. We both had a cup of broccoli cheddar soup (to die for!). Ham and cheese on artisan bread. YUM! They do not have a lot of seating inside. My...recommendation... order ahead and pick it up if you are in a hurry. We were moving at a slow pace and enjoyed having a seat.More

Beautiful location, cozy place, nice staff, and good selection and quality. On the downside: 1) very expensive bread and pastries and 2) they do not have an automated bread slicer.

I cannot say enough good things about MacReady’s. Whenever I’m in Door County, I make sure to stop there for lunch, and to bring home loaves of delicious bread (freezing works great). Their pastries are also delicious! Every day, their menu has some new twists...and some standbys. Their homemade soups are excellent and come with an assortment of their breads. Their cranberry chicken salad is perfect...honestly, I have never left disappointed. They have several tables in the store, and outside the lawn also has numerous tables for seating in the summer months, with a gazebo where singers perform on the weekends. Great food, great experience, wonderful staff!More

A wonderful place to get a sandwich and be served by super friendly people. Had a blueberry scone which was great. And a turkey sandwich which was even better. Bread was so fresh and tasty! Staff was very polite....great job! Not always easy to do...in today's environment with so many ungrateful/rude people. Do yourself a favor and stop in, you will be happy you did.More

In the five days of our stay in Door County, we visited Macready's four times. The pastries are delicious, and the breads are divine. Lunch was fantastic, the braunschweiger was a pleasant surprise on the menu and I enjoyed it immensely. The staff will take...next-day reserve orders, and we did that so we would have goodies to take home with us. You guys are fantastic and SO pleasant to talk with. Thanks for your love for food and people!More

We ordered sandwiches to go so we could have them for lunch at the park after hiking. I have to preface this by saying I am not a sandwich person - but this place could change my mind. The bread is amazing, and teh sandwiches...were piled high with quality ingredients. My husband had the Italian, and I had the chicken salad and both were delicious.More
