They were within walking distance of our hotel. They have indoor and outdoor seating and a parking lot if you don't want to park on the street. The food was okay though.
Just arrived in town and chose The Bistro for lunch. What a happy little place to eat - it's cheery and bright and has pleasant decor. I ordered lightly battered and fried cheese curds for an appetizer. They are a Wisconsin favorite but I had never had them. They were very tasty. My chicken salad sandwich with nuts and grapes... You have to make your way through the assortment of gift shops but it is worth the little bit of hassle. The Bistro offers a simple menu of delicious food with a side of social justice. We went here because we were tired and it says bistro..I love bistro food.. this is not a true bistro. I didn't notice a sign saying kids eat free. Warning sign number 1. Number 2, menue was over priced crap food I can get anywhere and pay less. Number 3, they say homade onion rings....that's a lie. Number 4, two... More
