We picked this restaurant by the reviews I read. My husband's dinner was just average. I had Pad Thai and I thought it was awful. The restaurant is very nice, clean and well decorated. Service was very good
We were looking for a veg-friendly restaurant (for me); I like spicy, husband likes bland, so Thai (my first choice) was not going to cut it. Based on the good reviews, we thought this would be a great choice: he could get Chinese, I'd get...Thai. Ambiance is pleasant, not fancy but attractively upholstered chairs, clean and kind of on the modern side. It is a large space, but there were few patrons there. Waitress was friendly and efficient; waitstaff use handheld devices to take orders, tally check, take payment, etc. While they do serve beer and hard cider, they do not have wine; I do not know if they offer mixed drinks. Even though they are supposed to be an Asian fusion restaurant, with dishes from many cuisines, the menu appears to be heavily Thai. I remember seeing one Korean dish and a few Viet Namese, but it was hard to identify the origins of many dishes, and I did not see as many Chinese dishes as I would have expected. I ordered a papaya salad; strangely, the waitress asked me if I knew what it was (apparently many people do not), but I have had it a few times elsewhere, so I knew what to expect. Three levels of heat/spice were offered, and I chose "mild" since my husband would be sharing it. I ordered a noodle entree but subsequently noticed that it was not spicy. I asked if they could make it so, and the waitress said yes; I ordered "medium" since I was unfamiliar with this restaurant's cooking. When the salad came, it was swimming in fish sauce. I took a bite, and to my chagrin, it was anything but mild! It was very spicy, but that aspect was overwhelmed by the unpleasantly heavy taste of the fish sauce. The papaya was limp -- it had drowned. Our entrees were each huge mounds of food on the plate. Contrary to my request, my "street noodles" had no heat/spiciness whatsoever. They were edible enough but not what I had asked for. My husband's teriyaki noodle dish also was OK, but he said it was very sweet. At best, I would describe the food as average, although portions are very large. We could not reconcile the less-than-stellar food we had with the rave reviews we had read, which led us to wonder if the chef had changed.recently. In any event, we will not be going back.More
I called an order of soup for pick up, and restaurant said it would be 10 minutes. I showed up 8 minutes later and no soup was available. I had to wait in the restaurant over 30 minutes for a single order of soup. They...tried to make good by throwing in crab Rangoon, but can't stand the stuff. Soup tasted good though!More
Had a hot spicy Thai dish, which was good. Service was good. But ended up in the bathroom for several hours after the meal. Too bad. Always looking for a good new Asian place to add to our repertoire. We'll try it again, in hopes...it was just a fluke.More
My husband and I always order Spring rolls as one of our tests. Theirs were fresh, with thin spicy pork and good sauce. We tried some new drinks, one colorful with coconut milk, and one spicy mango smoothie. The straw was enveloped with spicy dried...mango. As entrees, we ordered pork Thai basil stir fry, which, while not beautiful, had a nice kick to it. I went for the Lao green papaya salad, with crackling pork, shrimp, and cabbage. The waiter warned me that it was very spicy, and he was correct: it woke up my senses, while giving me the crunchy, fresh salad I was going for. We also got Thai fried rice and ginger stir fry to take home to our kids.More
Great service!! This place has got the best pho, the beef broth was perfect, one of the best I've had. We've had Bahn mi, Jajameyon, Udon, Pad Thai and Gen Tso, they were all delicious. We love the variety of asian dishes they offer and...we can get it all here!! Will continue to come here!More
Change in our plans so we got take-out instead of dining in. Food was very good, tasty and freshly made. Pad Thai with 'hot' level of spice heat was just right. Thai Hot Basil with chicken was very good and good spiciness / heat. Pho...broth was very good, not the salty flavored water some places serve. Udon chicken had very good noodles and veggies. Crab Rangoon was very good. Serving portions were generous and prices reasonable. Although we didn't eat in, the restaurant was recently remodeled and looks very nice and clean. Pick-up order was ready on time. Overall a good experience.More
I do not write reviews when I dislike a restaurant, but I’m making an exception. My partner and I were driving from Maine to Arizona going through Eau Claire on a chilly rainy day. He mentioned the a bowl of Pho would be a perfect...lunch so I went to research. Pan Asian came up with glowing reviews saying it was so tiny we may have to share tables....that sounded great as did the great review of Pho. The place is quite large, I thought we were in the wrong place but the name was correct. .the Pho didn’t seem to be at the top of their offerings but the waitress was kind enough to ask the kitchen to make up what I wanted. Unfortunately it lacked the real Pho experience I was expecting. My partner opted for the Buffet which turned out to be very disappointing. I only am reviewing this because when we are on the road we rely on Trip Advisor listings. And we couldn’t disagree with the previous reviews more.More

Some of the best Asian food in Eauclaire...I was checking in line fortake out....great customer service on the phone and in person....no delivery but well worth picking up ! Took home several chicken dishes and egg rolls....I would rate it a 10 !
I have tasted numerous items from the menu and I have yet to find something that disappointed me. Everything is fresh, made quickly, and the service is great. I cannot wait until they expand and possibly include a buffet style with all their delicious foods....I have ordered now take out from this place about 5 times and always have had a pleasant experience. The staff is very knowlegable and super friendly. If your looking for a small asian restaurant to enjoy or order some fantastic take out this is the place for you!More
I found this "hole in the wall" next to a popular grocery store. I thought I would try the Pad Thai with pork. What arrived a few minutes later was a generous plate of the noodles with vegetables, pork, and good tasting sauce. The serving...was enough for two people, and it was inexpensive. Definitely worth another visit! Since that first encounter, I have tried other dishes, including, Lo Main, Udon, Snow Peas, Pad See Ew, Hot & Sour Soup, Egg Drop Soup. Everything I have tried has tasted wonderful; ingredients are prepared and cooked fresh; servings are generous; price is very reasonable. Now, I would eat half of a dish and take the other half home for another meal. It will take me several visits to try everything on the menu! but it would be a wonderful adventure.More
The Bahn Mi sandwich is very good, it would be nice if more than one meat is used, but the vegetables make up for the diversity of meat. The mayo is quite good. The dumplings are very nice and the spring rolls are flawless. The...roast pork used in both the spring rolls and the sandwich is very good. The presentation of the food is quite nice and the general appearance is of freshness and quality. The Laab may be the best in town. Am happy to have found this place.More
My family was visiting Eau Claire from Spooner and were discussing where to eat before heading home when we saw this little place. So glad we stopped. I had the combo pho and my wife had the vermicelli salad. It was great. Great flavor and...very fresh. The spring rolls are huge.More
