We came here for a family birthday and had an excellent meal. The waitstaff here is always top notch as well. I’m still dreaming of their popovers and beet salad.

This restaurant is amazing! The food is incredible! We had the signature Meatballs with the homemade marinara... spectacular! The sausage bread with marinara is full of flavor! The filet mignon melts in your mouth! And the seasoned vegetables are mouthwatering! The service is top-notch! We...had dinner at Morton's Steakhouse in Chicago the week before, and Johnny's ranks higher! The hospitality at the front desk makes you feel right at home! Eric, our waiter, is exceptional! We will be back! Thank you!More

Excellent food, very good wine program. We ordered steak Diablo. Perfectly cooked. Sauce was excellent! Got roasted vegetables to go with. Wife had the lasagna. She thought it was very good. Lots of good wine to choose from. We got a barolo to go with...the dinners. Banana cheesecake for dessert was divine. Would definitely go back when in the area.More

Loved everything about Johnnys! So perfect it is conveniently located in the hotel where are we were staying while visiting for a wedding. Our waitress, Megan, was fantastic. She offered suggestions on the menu and truly had a knowledge of all of the offerings. She...recommended the salmon dip, and it was so good! We also got the fillet trio with garlic smashed potatoes, and had a wonderful glass of Brunello. The restaurant and bar had a great vibe around the food was reasonably priced for the quality.More

Absolutely the best 10oz filet I've ever had. Everything from the fresh popover, salad, French bread, baked potato ( my wife's veggies). My wife had the 6oz filet. Our waitress, Emmi, I believe, was superior. Expensive, yes, but don't mind paying the bill for a...meal like that. My whiskey old fashioned was good, but in a place like that I would expect a filthy cherry and cherry not muddled.More

We drove 60 miles to attend the Easter Brunch at Johnny’s Italian Steak House. Our family of eight was seated in a lovely curtained room. The server was very attentive and pleasant. The Menu was very poor, and we all struggled to find something we...even wanted to eat. I made the reservation for our family and my entree was forgotten and finally arrived about 10 minutes after every one else had their meal. It was just eggs Benedict. The ham in the ham dinner was 50% fat. Anyone looking at our returned plates could easily see we returned a lot of uneaten food because it was just not very good. Deeply disappointed! Ruined our day.More

After checking in to the Holiday Inn, we walked across the lobby a few steps to the entrance of this restaurant. The decor was dark and moody. Nothing Italian was there, which is fine for the decor of a hotel restaurant. The food and service...was above average. The food was more Italian inspired than truly Italian. For example, just after we were seared, we were brought a bread bun, which was basically a Yorkshire Pudding. It was excellent, but nothing I would consider Italian. We shared a fried Zucchini appetizer, and again, absolutely excellent, thought not particularly Italian. We both had a tasty tomato bisque soup. My wife had a blackened salmon over a Greek type salad. It was flavorful and perfectly cooked, but not really classic Italian cuisine. I had a tasty linguine seafood pomodoro served with a generous topping of Parmigiano. This is a dish I have often enjoyed in Italy, however, Italians typically do not put cheese on this. So, this is a place for great food, well served, but American-Italian rather than Italian cuisine.More

Have been eating here for a long time and the consistency is there. Very good food. Popovers a nice touch. THE place for an upscale cocktail! Honestly, what a nice place for our town.

At the end of our vacation and looking for restaurant with enough choices and not wanting burgers or bar type food. Johnnys has a great selection for all diners. this is a very busy place and it was attached to a hotel, but they were...handling the pace very well and our food came out hot and timely. We had meat and pasta dishes that were very good. The popovers at beginning of meal were exceptional. Server was very pleasant. Have reservations or you may not be seated or need to sit at bar.More

Our Valentine’s date started off great. We sat at the bar and enjoyed a drink before our table was ready. Once we were seated at our table, our server was bubbly and nice. The popovers were delish, the appetizer was tasty, our soups were also...good. Then, our entrees were delivered, and I ordered a drink from our waitress. My husband said his Chef Andy’s Cavatappi was decent. I ordered the 18 oz. bone-in ribeye and scallops with a side of asparagus with Bearnaise sauce. The ribeye was TOUGH, and trying to cut it with a butter knife (they don’t provide steak knives) had the table rockin’. I am a slow eater, so it was maybe 25 minutes before I was done eating, and still no drink. Our waitress finally came back to the table and listed off dessert options. I did order warm chocolate cake and asked if my drink was ready at the bar; she told me she would check. Some time later she came back and said they ran out of the mix used to make the cocktail and that the bartender was mixing more up. I am not kidding, it was 40-45 minutes after I ordered it that the drink finally came. Tables that were seated after us but had a different waitress were already leaving. At no point when she came back to update us on the drink, did she ever apologize for the delay. In any regard, the warm chocolate cake was amazing. So, poor service and a tough steak at a “steakhouse.” If I could convince my husband to go back, I would totally have scallops as my main entree and the same dessert, but make sure we had a different waitress (I have her name on the receipt, but I’m not going to post it here since maybe she was having a bad night, but I won’t chance having her as a waitress a 2nd time). A disappointing Valentine’s experience, for sure!More

I booked the hotel attached to Johnny's and bought extra "2" $50.00 meal vouchers. I asked on Friday night if I needed to make a reservation for Saturday and was told no. At 6:00 pm, when I went downstairs to go to the restaurant, I...was told sorry we are fully booked. I then stated that what my $100.00 already paid for meal coupons are wasted and the hostess/manager said that no you can use room service (I would have to pay extra for that). She then said (with irritation) that we could sit at the bar and order. It would not have been so upsetting if I hadn't already attended the respiratory therapist conference here, booked a suite at the hotel, and was lied to about having to make a reservation, but then being dismissed at 6:00 pm.....when they are open till 11:00 pm because now they are fully booked, but it was how I was addressed that was upsetting and how seating at the bar wasn't a first option to be offered. This is just bad business. Also, they said they are not affiliated with the Holiday Inn even though they are attached and on the meal vouchers both establishments are listed.More

Wow! This place did not disappoint! My husband and I had an appetizer, 3 cocktails, two entrees, two desserts and it was all delicious! Service was prompt and our waitress, Rose was very knowledgeable about the various items and was most amiable. I had steak...and shrimp and my steak was cooked to perfection and was so tender! My husband had the porterhouse and it felt like butter in your mouth! The appetizer we chose was an assortment of their most popular: deep fried ravioli (least favorite but still tasty) calamari with a yummy sauce, bruschetta with shrimp, most excellent and a sausage stuffed bread that was amazing! The dessert was a banana cream cheesecake.... HEAVENLY and the raspberry lemon Limoncello which was ok, it tasted a bit dry however we took it home and the next day it tasted a lot better. Total we spent $166 so it's not cheap but totally worth it! We'd love to come again!More

I do not know for sure but I would suggest calling the restaurant and ask. The staff there are always willing to accommodate our dining needs so I suspect they would be happy to work with you.
