We have had the pleasure of enjoying our Valentine dinner at Bijou. It was divine. We started with ramaki and then enjoyed the Bijou salad and followed with an amazing tenderloin. We took our desserts to go and they were supreme. Chef Tony never disappoints.

Our company had Tony and his team cater a lunch for 40 recently. The food was extremely fresh, well prepared, and plentiful. Additionally, they are just a joy to work with. We look forward to going to the restaurant again for other meals, but the...catering was especially wonderful.More

Starting with the good, the creme brulee was delicious with the sugar on top done perfectly. The Bijou salad is a nice mix and worth the upgrade. The ravioli was good as were the bread and butter. The salmon was cooked just a bit more...than optimal. The big disappoint was the shrimp with the ravioli. They were extremely charred and so dry that they were unpleasant to chew. In a place as small as this, it should be easy to give attention to the cooking and get things perfect. We have had some good meals here but the quality of the cooking is inconsistent.More

Stopped in for an Anniversary dinner on a weeknight. Very limited offerings. Opted for the Lobster Ravioli which had very little lobster and was topped by 3 average size shrimp. Okay but not spectacular. My wife had the Chicken Breast Saltambuca which was dry and...a bit overcooked. Great Service above average food.More

I made a reservation for my husband's birthday for myself, him, our daughter and son-in-law. I had the scallops with risotto, my husband had the lamb (which he said was the best he has EVER had), my daughter had the scallops and tenderloin and my...son in law had lobster ravioli with shrimp. The food was absolutely OUTSTANDING, and the service was A++. We were seated in the kitchen area and it was a delight to watch chef Tony and his few staff people work. It was very quiet and the atmosphere made for an intimate birthday for my husband. We will return soon!!!More

The owner, Tony, was very easy to work with, was flexible, and accommodated all of our needs, including providing a couple of separate main course dishes from our buffet order and a free desert. Quickly adjusted or order at last minute increase in the number...of attendees, and provided a discount for the additional persons. Perhaps most important--the food was excellent and serving size was more than ample. Adjusted standard recipe to accommodate gluten sensitivity without compromising the taste or quality of the food. Would definitely recommend to others.More

Bijou Bistro was great. We were the only reservation. The tenderloin was great. The mushrooms came with an amazing sauce. The service was great. No desserts were available. It was like being served in our home.

We had food from Bijou Bistro at a catered wedding reception. Everything was delicious, so I called to ask about their full menu and prices--prohibitive for us.

Dinner was outstanding, two orders of fresh ahi tuna and one chicken saltimbocca. The sauces complemented the proteins perfectly and the vegetable sides were cooked nicely, not over cooked. We enjoyed Creme brûlée for dessert. Nice evening in a small, quiet, European style dining room....Service was great. We wish this restaurant served lunch.More

Second Review -- have been here a few times but recent visit merits an updated review. What is still nice is the ambiance, assuming, of course, that there is no other loud-voiced obnoxious people in the room, as it is small and there's no assurance...or privacy! Staff is still very attentive and knowledgeable. The chicken marsala, featured on menu, arrived atop a bed of wide noodles, which were nearly dry and just rubbery as soon as they cooled. We thought decidedly less sauce was served with this dish than before, which was a bit disappointing. Salmon was good, well seasoned, served nice and hot. I still don't see the point in serving long, hard green beans in spite of the fact they "are local" or "fresh from the farm" or whatever. With no sharp knife, you must attempt to cut in to manageable pieces with a dull fork or try to pierce one end and maneuver an entire eight-inch bean into your mouth. Plus, by the time you finish eating them, they're very cold and tasteless. Their coffee is the best - and served hot, in generous supply, with large pot. Dessert: do not plan to split them anymore - they are very tiny. Their carrot cake, while delicious, is barely an inch at top end.More
