did I mention it was sunny. Due to the location the sun is hitting this patio for a long time especially in June. Indoor seating is available but not as pretty as the patio. Staff was great and very busy. Drinks were well done.

This bar is on the outside rooftop of the Lismore hotel. It is beautiful up here with views of downtown Eau Claire. We just had a beer, and we were shocked at the reasonable prices at such a pretty place. We had 3 beers for $10. It was a gorgeous evening to be out on the roof top bar.

This is the bar on the 2nd floor of the Lismore. There is an outdoor rooftop patio that would be wonderful in warm weather. But the indoor ambiance is very pleasant and the staff is terrific. nice place to visit with friends.

We had a dozen employees come here after work on a Thursday night and the service was prompt, the drinks were good, and we love the urban feeling it has. Additionally, it overlooks the street on the second level, which is a great view.

My wife and I stayed at the Lismore over the weekend and found ourselves here at the Dive Bar both Friday and Saturday night. We loved it! The drinks were great. She loved hers and I drank spotted cow. The bar tenders were super welcoming and kind. One of the guys even ran some beers down the hall to my room for us! Definitely utilize this if you’re staying at the hotel.

On a Saturday evening my husband and I went to The Dive specifically for a Charlie Parr. After my spouse brought it to the table, I spilled it! The bartender graciously cleaned up my mess and brought me a fresh drink free of charge. You’ve got to appreciate customer service like that! Try the Charlie Parr; it’s a unique, delicious, citrusy cocktail.

I also provided a review on The Lismore Hotel's site because they are located on the 2nd floor. This bar is not quaint, although it apprears they are trying to be. The large chairs are a bit uncomfortable in that you sink low and have to reach for your drink on the table. The outside roofdeck looked inviting but it was a bit cool the night we visited. In fact, it is slightly larger than the inside. The staff we dealt with appeared to be a bit overworked (that's my excuse for their not-so-friendly attitude) because a jazz festival was held there the night before we visited. The drinks are expensive and not really that good. WIth so many bars in Eau Claire, we have plenty of others to choose from. Being a local, we wanted to give it a try - call it "one-and-done."

Their cocktails are good and the wood fired pizza is good as well. It's pricey for Eau Claire but it is a great place to grab a causal drink. Not a place I'd spend an entire night at.

This is a place for anyone to enjoy before or after dinner. It is was nice to stay at the hotel and have the rooftop lounge available. The helped to make my midweek getaway feel like a vacation.

The last time we were there the special was an Old Fashion with a can of Leinies on the side for $5. How fun! The Old Fashion was great! Beautiful atmosphere! Urban feel. Great Roof Top Patio.

The Dive is the bar at the Lismore Hotel in downtown Eau Claire. The former hotel was renovated to become a DoubleTree and the bar on the 2nd floor was previously the swimming pool. Hence the name Dive. It is far from that, as it is a more upmarket cocktail bare with plenty of space and an elegant setting. When the sun shines and it is warm, they open the doors to the patio outside. The staff is friendly here and knows their cocktails. They also have a good selection of whisky and bourbons available.
Another good addition to downtown scenery in Eau Claire.

The Dive looks and feels 'fancy' and kind of uptown NYC kind of vibe, but without the uppity, snudy-people. The customer service was great. The drinks went down very well and were all delicious! It was a great place to start out our girls night out, sit and socialize with each other. No crazy music playing loudly where you could actually hear and carry on a conversation. The only downside is the limited seating both inside and outside. And weirdly enough you could see into a few hotel rooms from the outdoor patio--if they left their blinds open. Luckily no one was in that room. But over all its a great atmosphere for casual night out, girls night out, or even fancier date/special night out. Plan to enjoy it again in the near future. The prices are what I expected for a hotel-bar... but others might say it was a bit pricier.
