Very unimpressed with my experience there. Despite being $22, the pizza I got was quite oily and so soggy that I couldn't pick up a piece in my hand. I probably could have overlooked this if it had good flavor, but the pizza was below...average - I've had better from Dominos. A friend with me noted that her rabbit was under done and another thought that the texture of her veggie burger was soggy and unappealing. Additionally, we were eating outside on a hot day and had to continually ask the waitress for more water - she never checked on it herself.More

upon check in they did tell us it would be a good idea and we didn't listen. Had to wait over 1 hour. Food was very good.

I love salads, especially during warm summer days, but after so many I decided to try something different. I found it on the menu listed as a light vegetable plate called "Grilled Squash." The presentation, the vegetable ingredients and the sauce which can be drizzled...over top made the dish absolutely wonderful.More

During this pandemic we have been doing a lot of ordering curbside from the Informalist including holiday meals. What has impressed both my husband and me is the superb meals that we have ordered. My husband was particularly impressed with the quality of the food...but also the seasoning! And believe me, he's not easy to impress!More

The Informalist is a beautiful restaurant with a fun atmosphere! I’m pretty sure all of the products they use to create their dishes are from local farmers. If you’re looking for non traditional dishes, this might just be your place! Very good food and wonderful...service!More

Somewhat hip and trendy place to have a drink and a unique appetizer or dinner. Staff is attentive and restaurant is not what you would expect for a hotel place.

We were blown away by The Informalist! Diverse menu with many creative and delicious vegan/vegetarian options. Very high quality food clearly made with a lot of effort. The beet hummus is incredible! We also had a veggie burger, avocado toast, and house cut fries; equally...amazingly prepared and flavorful. The atmosphere is bright, airy, comfortable, and stylish. Plenty of seating options available. Staff were friendly and attentive; service was perfect on all fronts. We appreciated that straws were not included with any of our drinks and cloth napkins were used. We had read other reviews mentioning The Informalist being pretentious and we did not get that vibe at all. It’s clear they are forward thinkers and in a league of their own judging by their menu options, food quality, and staff. We can’t wait to come back!More

This place totally insists upon itself. drinks are over priced and not that great. My wife had a pot pie and said it was awesome tho. My pizza was fine- but I could have gotten a much better one at Toppers for less $$. Lots...of beards and too-hip hipsters working. Really nice interior tho.More

The restaurant was beautiful and warm. The menu was interesting but the execution of the food was fair. We had Yellow Curry and the Mini-nut Squash, two entree's that seemed like they would be full of flavor but they were both rather bland.

Had a great at-the-bar meal here with a colleague. Entire meal was terrific - fresh and well prepared - and the salad dressing is pretty much life changing. Very much enjoyed and would recommend.
