From the moment we walked in it was going to be a great evening. Bob the bartender served great cocktails and conversation. Laura went over the top to accommodate us. And Lidia our waitress was outstanding. Not to mention the food was top notch

Disappointed is keeping it positive! My husband and I went for dinner. We arrived a little early hoping to enjoy an old fashion before our reservations. We sat at the bar and waited almost 20 minutes before even being acknowledged. We understand places are short...staffed, but a quick hello, I’ll be right with you goes a long way. This type of device continued throughout our night. We waited for our food too. Also, when we got our bill we were charged more than what the menu had for prices. Unbelievable experience. We will not be back.More
Beautiful bar and decor. Wonderful attentive bartender. Great looking old fashions. Bottle wine is reasonably priced. Food came out fast and was generously portioned. Beautiful outdoor patio dining area with some tables having a fire feature. Menu not updated and signage did not reflect that...they didn’t offer prime rib on Friday night which is the whole reason we went there. The bartender made a good brandy Alexander.More
After a long day of motorcycle riding we wanted a place with good food and a cocktails, well this was it, hubby had steak and I had the fish fry, both were EXCELLANT, enjoyed after dinner the out side lounge area with entertainment, so glad...we came here definitely will be back next year. Thanks for the Great Food and Service as well!!!!More
We recently ate dinner here, we had a group of 8. 2 of us had the fish special and it was very dry. All of us had side salads and all of the dressings were so runny it looked like it should have been eaten...with a spoon. I’m not sure if it was the lettuce or they are watering down their dressing, either way we had puddles left on our plate, it looked like soup. A few in the group wanted the prime rib that was on the menu and we were told we couldn’t have it that night. Two out of 6 of our steaks were overcooked. It looked they might have been under staffed. No bad things to say about the employees, they were all great. It’s a beautiful restaurant and I was so excited to show it to my family and then was embarrassed by the outcome. Disappointing to spend $300 on a dinner and it’s not good.More
This is my second time to enjoy the hospitality at Eagle Waters for the big pond hockey tournament. We had great fun, ate good food and drank plenty!
Dined here the other night with some friends. We enjoyed a drink sitting by the fireplace and then ordered our meals. Our service was very good. Food was severed in a timely manner and tasted good. Portions were generous as three of the four took...leftovers home. This is a classic Eagle River resort and they have maintained the charm of the area. Will return again.More
Food, wine, atmosphere all wonderful as are the stories and legends surrounding famous visitors and residents.
If you are looking for true Northwoods dining, look no further! From the moment you drive in you will be captivated by the beautiful Northwoods decor from the trees, to the waterfall, antique canoes and so much more. If the weather is nice they have...a beautiful outdoor seating area with 2 stage areas (many visits we have seen some amazing bands and performers outside). Inside they have 2 large bars and plenty of dining areas with again beautiful decor. They have a very nice menu variety with great food ranging from their appetizers, to their great pizza's, to steaks. We have been there this summer for a wedding, 2 banquets, and just for dinner with friends and every meal has been great. When we have friends or family up, this is one place we try to make sure we stop.More
First time we went it was closed for a wedding thy should have had better signage indicating they were closed So we decided to give them another try slow service don’t go if you are in a hurry salad bar was good prime rib needed...some seasoning husband had the walleye fish said it was just okay Not sure I would go backMore
The fish was good, but was a bit pricey. Wish they had an option other than all you can eat because none of us got seconds. The mac and cheese had a little bit too much garlic.
Mostly Italian fair...reminiscent of Michaels restaurant food,. Everything was wonderful, especially spaghetti and lasagna.
Our party of thirteen family members arrived at Eagle Waters Resort Restaurant anticipating a nice meal based on the reviews of the restaurant and recommendations by locals. What we got instead was a two-hour wait for mediocre food and no meaningful excuse for the extraordinary...delay. Between the time our order was taken and the food was served, two members of our party left because they were tired of waiting (7:00 PM to 9:05 PM). Others in our party asked for boxes to take the meals home because they were no longer interested in eating in the restaurant. My serving of BBQ ribs was unremarkable. The baked potato was hard, almost inedible, and the asparagus looked and tasted like it came from a can. If I was rating the food only, I would give it three circles. The only comment we got from the server when the food was served was, “I hope it was worth the wait.” No and it wasn’t.More
Enjoyed Easter Brunch at Eagle Waters. The place was incredibly busy and staff were bustling to accommodate. The food and wide selection was excellent, fresh and well prepared. Lots of salad, fresh fruit offerings, and fresh prepared hot entrees. Their dessert table was loaded --...some of the best flan and bread pudding I've been served.More
This is one of our favorite places to bring out of town guests. The food is always great, and the atmosphere takes you back in time to resorts of the old days.
