We had relatives in town and wanted to go out for a nice meal. I looked online and Catch 22 came up. I had never had the opportunity to try out this restaurant. I am so happy we did!! Both bartender and waitress we're friendly...and amazing and the food was to die for. Just scrumptious!! We had appetizers, entrees and dessert and absolutely EVERYTHING was delicious! We were all so pleased. I cannot wait to go back again.More

We were looking for somewhere to eat on s Monday night in Eagle River that was open early. Someone in our party had a conference call they had to get on by 6. This place was open so we gave it a try. The food...was fresh, flavorful and healthy. We had the roasted beet salad and the grilled salmon. Both were delicious. Service was great and food came out quick. We also had the mushroom vol au vent. Puff pastry with mushrooms on it. Very tasty.More

After reading reviews we were excited to try a new supper club. We were pleased that there wasn’t a wait. Our server brought waters quickly. We ordered drinks and they took awhile but not servers fault...I think she had too many tables. We didn’t get...an appetizer...we just ordered straight supper. Before the meal, she served rolls with roasted garlic and butter which was nice. Scott had the creamy onion soup which was very good and my cheesy broccoli was delicious and hot. The rest was ok. My husband had the blackened prime rib which he said was pretty good but it was a mid rare when he ordered medium. I had the regular prime rib which I ordered mid rare and it was med well and dry. Usually prime rib has juice on the plate and is very juicy...these were served dry with juice on the side. The carrots and mashed potatoes were good. Overall an average meal, but when two steaks (no apps or dessert) are $70, I’d like to enjoy the meat as well as the soup. Probably not returning. There are better supper club options.More

This is definitely worth the few miles drive out of the main strip of Eagle River. Very generous and flavorful portions. We both had the seafood pasta in a cream white wine sauce and it was loaded with shrimp and scallops.

This restaurant should be #1 on Trip Advisor, hands down! My husband and I ordered the Blackened Prime Rib with Risotto & the Prime Rib was by far the best we have ever had. We enjoy dining at upscale restaurants for date nights at home...in Chicago, and I can honestly say this was the most amazing dinner ever! Our server was Colin, and he was top notch as well! We will definitely be back!More

Great service. Food was good. However, in ordering the Seafood Pasta, one of the ingredients listed is 'crab'. Well, upon receipt of said pasta, I noted that the 'crab' was imitation crab. Asking the waitress about this, she confirmed that is was indeed imitation crab....Problem was, my husband is deathly allergic to whitefish (which is what imitation crab is!!!). Although he never tried my meal, he usually does and had he ate some (even a bite) he would've been taken out by ambulance. Food allergy aside, I would have never ordered the dish if I knew I was getting knock-off crab, so regardless, it is a deceitful menu item. The waitress acknowledged that she (and other waitstaff) have tried to have the menu description changed because of this but the management has refused to do so. She suggested that I write my concerns down on a 'comments form' she provided. I asked management to get in touch with me via email or I would write a not-so glowing review based on these extreme concerns, and no one ever contacted me. Now, perhaps the waitress didn't turn in my comments form, who knows. But, she received a VERY generous tip and provided great service, so unfortunately I have to leave this review as a simple warning to those with food allergies- seeing as management seems to leave out this important information on the menu.More

We really enjoyed our visit to Catch 22. Service was phenomenal by Brenda our sweet waitress. Specials were delicious (tomato bisque and Asian sea bass with pineapple) Portions were fair and freshly prepared.

My husband and I, along with another couple, visited Catch 22 on Saturday, May 4, 2019. It is an old restaurant in the Eagle River area. Long, long ago it was the Checo Supper Club. More recenty it was Captain Nemo's. It is now Catch...22. The interior is rather tired and unremarkable. We arrived about 6:30. There were 4 or 5 other tables seated. We were greeted by a waiter and gave our drink orders. When we were handed menus, we were informed that their Saturday night prime rib special was sold out and presumably due to our raised eyebrows, the waiter responded, "We had a run on it at 4pm." Hmmm. Really? Well, no matter. We had not had our hearts set on prime rib anyway. The two gentlemen in our party ordered the Cajun ribs (the other Saturday special). I ordered the seafood platter, and my friend ordered the scallops on risotto. Three salads were brought out, and mine was filled with small, brown-edged bits of lettuce. I began taking the pieces out, placing them on my butter plate and soon had no salad left. I signaled our waiter, and asked to have the creamy French onion soup instead. My husband and the other gentleman in our party had it, and theirs and mine were excellent! Very flavorful with lovely, large, crisp, garlicky croutons floating on top. The warm rolls that accompanied the soup and salad were VERY dry and hard, another disappointing part of the meal. I must say that they were making some attempts: the rolls were served with a whipped butter ball and several cloves of baked garlic, which would have been lovely on the dinner rolls had the baked garlic not been stone cold and the rolls had been fresh. The entrees were fine except for the 3 croquet potatoes. These, as described by our waiter were mashed potatoes mixed with goat cheese and herbs and deep fried. Unfortunately, they were inedible as well since the center was still stone cold despite the outside being nicely browned. Once again we signaled our waiter. He apologized again and said he'd have the chef cook new ones. They arrived on warmed plates (long after I'd finished my dinner) and unfortunately were stone cold in the center once more. With these disappointing aspects of the dinner, our waiter offered to bring us two desserts. We said, No thank you, but he brought to two anyway. One was two pieces of very, very dense flourless chocolate cake. Extremely rich. The other was creme brûlée. I was initially pleased as this is something I often order. Unfortunately, it too, was stone cold in the center and was without the delightful sugar crust on the top. We paid our bill and gave our waiter a 20%+ tip as none of this was his fault, and he had tried to be very accommodating. The fault for all the problems of the meal was the kitchen. I certainly hope they will take note. I think it is unforgivable to serve guests a plate of brown lettuce and rock-hard dinner rolls. These are simply items too old to use!! And for goodness sake, turn down the heat on the fryer so the potatoes come to the table hot throughout. The disappointing aspects unfortunately overshadowed the good. We will not be returning.More

Catch 22 is an excellent supper club in the great north woods of Wisconsin that we found while snowmobiling!! The food is absolutely delicious and Tanner, the trained chef, strives to prepare your meal exactly the way you like it! Justin the bartender is a...pleasure and Al the owner is the type of person whose goal is to simply make his customers experience the best ever! Al even went and purchased a bottle of liquor especially for me because I was disappointed they didn't carry my favorite brand. Catch is now my favorite supper club and I'm sure that you will think so too!! I've had the Scallop risotto and the pan seared Salmon with risotto while my bf is sold on the superb pork chop. Catch 22 is a fine jewel and no matter what you order, I'm sure it will be delicious!!More
