Possibly one of the best burgers of my life. We are from PA and here for a conference. I've never had cheese curd before so I can't compare, but they were yum-o. Also had the green bay burger, which had some deliciously spectacular pickles on it. The service was a little slow but that was probably because of restaurant week.... More

After driving from Chicago that morning, we had time for a quick lunch prior to our college visit at St. Norbert College just around the corner. The food was very good, especially the gumbo, which had a nice kick to it (as identified on the menu)! the beer selections looked good and the bar was very comfortable. Had to stick... More

Awesome pub food!! Best I had in a very long time. Gumbo was the best I had. Also, had the 11 oz burger done perfectly, juicy and flavorful served on a potato roll. My friend had the muffuletta it was thick piled with meat, cheese and olive spread. The best kudos to the chef. Waitress/bartender was friendly and efficient. Reminds... More

First time visitor and will definitely be back. The bar is clean and well decorated. Staff is friendly and courteous. The food was surprisingly well prepared and presented. The pizza was thin crust and crispy. My wife had steak and shrimp and said it was perfectly prepared, with baked potato and salad. Nice friendly crowd, not a rowdy bar atmosphere.... More

I had always assumed that Nicky's was a noisy college bar. I couldn't have been more wrong. The interior is gorgeous. All beautiful wood, tall ceilings..a european pub atmosphere. Plus the Christmas decorations were stunning. My husband does know the owners, so they were very friendly. But I noted that they chatted with most folks. We were at Nicky's on... More

I've only lived near Nicky's since before they opened many years ago, but have avoided it because I thought it was a "college bar" being as close as it is to St Norbert's. Tonight my wife and I tried and learned that it is not just college kids. It was more family oriented. I tried some of the Friday night... More
